Very fast and in and out of place i’m not really a talkative person, but Ginger, who i think is one of the managers, she’s really nice and always a helpful and pleasant person to be around. She’s one of the main people i see working there most of the days thankfully.

I went in to grab something. This store in Thorp Springs was NASTY. I over look alot when shopping at these types stores, I know how they are ran with a skeleton crew... But when it smells like raw sewage, and the locals say "it always smells like this", something needs to be done. This has to be a health hazard. We almost couldn't find the one thing we needed in time before vomiting all over the place. Luckily we kept it down, I doubt the employees would have found it very quick considering the mess plus the smell around that store. UNACCEPTABLE.FOR ALL OF YOU LOCALS, GO TO THE FAMILY DOLLAR DOWN TIN TOP (AMAZINGLY CLEAN) OR GO TO GRANBURY. STOP USING THIS STORE AND MAYBE THEY WILL FIX THIS SEWAGE ISSUE.IT'S NOT OK DOLLAR GENERAL. YALL DONT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR.

The situation at this place is always changing. They used to be super messy, then a few years ago a new manager came and started trying to fix up the place. When she left after a promotion a couple of years later, it fell back into a mess and has practically been that way ever since, although there have been a few employees here and there trying to fix up the place. This specific location is actually used for training purposes by the company. There is also a smell, which apparently comes from Master Splinter (in the words of an employee we talked with). Over all, this place is a mess, although it is kind of convenient for tight situations. I'm not going to lie, because we sometimes will go there if we're in a pinch, but pretty much avoid it for the most part. If you are going to go, only go in case of an emergency.

Under staffed , floors seem to be always dirty , isles blocked with merchandise that is never put on the shelves , so don't bother grabbing a cart and the parking lot matches the inside of the store .

Never in stock. Things need to be stocked are in middle of aisle. Can't push a buggy around. Its very dirty. I've seen rats running around. And most every time I go, employees are outside smoking. Needs better management.

Has went down hill since six months ago whatever you bring up to the counter is higher priced than what's on the tags back in the store also almost every time there is a long line to check out

A few weeks ago my roommate and I realized that we had no more bottled water. It was around 10:30 PM. We decided to drive up to the Dollar General.I was very surprised to see 2 or 3 cars in front. My roommate got out went to the door and a man holding a key opened and let him go in.I know that these people work hard stocking when they have time, running the register, and other duties. If you have never worked retail then you may not know that most retail stores are short handed by choice. I am including these facts because the key holder could have not let anyone in past closing. They have plenty to do.I gave them 5 stars for putting customer first. I have been in many of theses stores but never did they let you in late. In fact they will yell at you and tell you how much time you have left.Thank You Mr. KEY HOLDER.
