It was a morning of idiocy starting me as the chief idiot. I was borrowing a friend's car. I stopped by for gas because as a W+ member I get 10 cents off per gallon and because they always have CLEAN bathrooms.
Back to my tale. I got out of the Tahoe and proceeded to get gas. Unbeknownst to me 1) I left the keys in the ignition and 2) this car has an auto-lockout feature if the keys are not retrieved in about 2 minutes.
I heard the locks fall. I am now locked out, cellphone and keys in the car along with my wheelchair. I slowly make my way to the cashier to explain my situation. She listens...and she cares. She pulls out her phone to Google for a locksmith. Guess what? We don't have one in Graham. (This despite some 800# making it appear we do.). We know. We tried.
On this discovery, she found a chair for me to sit in since my wheelchair remained in my car, refusing to help me. She then called her boss to see if she had any ideas. The boss dropped what she was doing, came to the store, and proceeded to search for help.
Meanwhile, the employee hand me her personal cell phone to use unattended while I searched for an option. Finally, I did in Hysmith Auto. They appeared. The boss got me a water while I waited and I was ultimately reunited with my keys and my phone where the numbers I might have called were securely locked.
I cannot say enough about Murphy's USA in Graham, the store manager, but mostly about Angel! That, no kidding, is her name. And on July 23rd it was also her job description and it didnt have to be. Thank you Murphy's. Thank you, Angel.

They always have great fuel prices. My only complaint would be if the printer doesn’t print, they can’t reprint the receipt from the sales counter.
