I paid $1200 for oil leaks to be repaired on my vehicle, left it their for 2 weeks, plenty of time for them to realize that the vehicle was still leaking yet they chose to return it and tell me it was fixed. I left the shop and that same day the engin light turns back on about two hrs after leaving. The following day I find oil spots on my driveway so I decide to call them to let them know the problem had not been fixed. Mechanic tells me to wait a few days for the residue that may have been sitting their to drop of which may be the reason for the spots of oil in my drive way, it makes sense so I wait. I wait 2 days more that what he recommended, I monitored the oil spots my vehicle was leaving behind and noticed they they were not decreasing and also the check engine light is still on. I call them to come pick up my vehicle To check it out because I Supposedly have a 1 year warranty on the repairs they did 2 weeks ago.! Anyways they pick up my vehicle today to figure out what is going on and the lady that answered the phone keeps saying “I don’t know how to explain it to you, Blah blah blah “ pretty much doesn’t know who to tell me that they didn’t fix anything and now In order to fix it I have to take it in again for them to take the motor out and charge me more of course, because that all they really worry about. she has audacity to tell me that after all I have already paid for them to supposedly fix it now it turns out theirs other leaks???? I understand leaks appearing days after leaving the shop but literally the same day other leaks to show up but literally less than a day after taking it out I’m still having the same issue I initially took it in for and paid $1200 for.! All I’m asking for them to be freakin honest and not rats just trying to take peoples money saying they fix an issue and not doing it. I know they won’t do nothing because scamming and practically steeling, because that’s what you did is called ” STEELING “is how Davis Auto Repair does business.!! Not to mention that few months back I had already taken it to be repaired for another oil leak, paid around $160 then and now it’s dawning on me that they never really repaired nothing on that occasion. 100% dissatisfied customer!!!!!

Not to deal with. After having my vehicle for 4 weeks 4 days, I was told that timing was off by one tooth, And no compressor on #2 and #4 cylinder. And needs valves repaired. For this information I was charges $547.12. The then quoted me another $1500 plus to repair valves. Not fair. His day will come. What rip off.

Do not stand behind their warranty, make up other issues to justify what the didn’t fix initially.! But are fantastic at collecting your money.! Props for that I will keep posting because I’m sure they will take the post down

Beware of Ray Davis auto repair they do not stand behind their work my uncle took his truck in to get service before he moved to Corpus Christi they done patch job on the the repair and sent him on the way 28 days later the Truck broke and they wont stand behind their work and help him out CROOKS

Took my vehicle in for an acute change in my brakes. They determined immediately that it was a brake booster. Instead of charging me hundreds of dollars to fix it, they told me this particular model had an extended warranty on the faulty brake booster and directed me to a dealership that could fix it for free. That's the kind of honesty and integrity we need more of. Thank you. You guys are my auto repair go to from now on.
