I am a 76 yrs old Vet. Been to hundreds of hotels, motels, inns’s and cabins. I will Never use Bass Hollow again! Totally disappointing experience. On 10/28 we settled into cabin #12 after paying $186.00 for one night.( way over priced ). And, I found out too late that there was no heating in the cabin ( except for a heat lamp in the shower area). It was 43*.that night, my wife and I froze our butts off. Also, no hot water ( “barely” lukewarm). My wife is handi cap, she watches tv while I go out and fish for a while. Well the TV had no signal that evening, she was so frustrated. And finally, to add insult to injury, the coffee machine was there, with no coffee supplies at all. ‘I normally don’t write negative reviews, but with this one, I felt like I’d been taken for a fool. You got me this time. When I brought it to their attention the next day all I got was an “I’m sorry”. No discounts, no future credits, no effort to take care of their customer. just an I’m sorry.Well guess what, I’m sorry too, I’m sorry I chose Bass Hollow!

Our family (8) of us stayed in the largest cabin on the property. Granted, it had just moved into off-season. We were glad we could bring our dogs (3) @ $40/nightly +$100 cleaning deposit. Maybe this would be a great place in the summer but it was chilly to be outside. Indoor accommodations were scant. One dining table with 6 chairs - 2 round tables in the kitchen with no chairs; nowhere to hang clothes in one bedroom; very small closet in the other. We paid a total of $670 for 2 nights not counting the addition $240 for the dogs. Yes, you are right on Possom Kingdom Lake. We stayed here for a wedding reception happening at a private residence nearby. Under the circumstances, the price seemed high for the space and accommodations. Maybe the small cabins are better.

We stayed for one night in one of the motel rooms that had a king bed and one full size bed. I had a trail running race 5 miles away at Greagg Ranch Saturday morning. Everyone in the office was friendly. Check in was quick and easy. The room was very clean. There was a small fridge and microwave. The kids love the water and played for a few hours in the lake. The only issue was the wifi. Very weak signal and our phones and tablets couldn't connect.

Beautiful!! We had a small cabin right by the water in front of the boat dock. It was the perfect cabin for us a 3 young kids. We could sit on our porch and watch them run around in front of the water. They allow dogs with an extra fee. We didn't mind that at all because its nice to be able to bring our dog to the lake. We also brought our boat. We were able to put in and dock the boat right next to our cabin! If you have a boat and visit PK often you know what a luxury that is! The reason I am only giving 4 stars is because there is ZERO cell service here and no WiFi. Our TV didn't work either. It all turned out great though! It was nice to be unplugged for a few days. All our attention was on our kids and each other. There is a gas station with a little store there too. The ladies in there were so sweet! The are over the cabins. We will be back for sure

We stayed in the RV Park in mid-March 2019. Good stuff about this spot on the lake is that the views are good, the RV park was clean, freshly mowed and no one else was in the RV park but us. The hollow for the lake is a no wake zone so there were no boats zooming past with loud motors and causing any wake problems, and the lake is from 10-20 feet deep in this area. There is a nice area to get in the water here, but the water temp was too cold (57-degrees) to get in. The boat dock in front of the RV park is decent but not excellent. The shore was very soft to step on the boat dock ramp and it was a bit shaky. The other boat docks are very nice and well kept. We looked through the windows at the lodge rooms and while they're a little dated and not 5-star, they appeared to be clean, well kept and great lake rooms. The bad for us was there is no cell service available (AT&T or Verizon) or Wi-Fi available in the RV park what-so-ever. We had to walk over in front of the store to get the free, or any, Wi-Fi to make and receive calls, check emails and texts. Hard to believe in this day of age that is the case. Also the RV spots are expensive ($75/night) given the RV pads are natural grass, not level, no cell or Wi-Fi, no picnic table or other outdoor table of any kind provided, and the sewer dump in space #6 was raised up from the ground to the point our reserve tanks would not empty without turning our camper around to slope the other way. Other much nicer RV parks parks in the State we have been to (ie: Buckhorn Lake Resort (Kerrville, TX)) is $45-50/night. The good things are good, but the bad things are bad. I doubt we will return to this RV park.

This place was great! As a family of 4 boys we spent the weekend and found our favorite place! The cabin had 3 big beds (we were in room 15). The only downfall was there is NO cell service for us and no Wi-Fi.. our room had a fridge, stove, microwave, and coffee maker so we were set! Water was like 20ft and had 2 boat docks, plenty of fishing spots and room for the boys to swim..

I think this fellow is confused. Bass Hollow doesn't have a bar. Possum Hollow does and I'm sure that this is what he is talking about. We have a family reunion at Bass Hollow every year, and everyone loves it. The people are exceptional and the facilities are well kept. I'm sold and will always end up here if going to the lake. They are one of the few with a boat ramp still in the water.

The camp sites are ok. But if you go to the Restraunt stay away from the guy in the Cowboy Hat that sit's at the bar. I'm not sure who he is I know he work's there. But you want to talk about RUDE!!! It's funny, when you go and spend money somewhere and they treat you bad, you just cant wait to go back! The other man at the Restraunt with the white hair, He is very Nice!!! If you go there only talk to him. He is a people person and makes you feel Welcome. Please take my advice and stay away from the other man, unless you just like to be angry.
