Gone Fishing RV resort is a wonderful experience. The park is quiet and clean. Dwayne and Shannon are phenomenal hosts and truly care about your experience at their resort. We were off to a rocky weekend with various issues with our trailer. They were very helpful and caring with making sure our long weekend improved and we had a great family weekend.
Thank you guys for your caring and compassion and love for what you do.

Gone Fishing was amazing, everything we needed they had it for example ice, propane, groceries, and boat parking. The owner was extremely nice and helpful and so was her husband. We will definitely go back. I need to also mention we had guest join us for the Fourth of July and Gone Fishing RV resort was more than accommodating.

My wife, daughters, grandkids, rented the air/bb this place is so peaceful and comfortable. They have chickens in a coop that you can look at on top of the hill and a pet pig you can pet. Beautiful trees and right next to the lake. We took walks every morning, really enjoyed this place and we are already planning a return visit. If you are planning to go to lake Texoma and you have an RV or want to rent an air/ bb this is the place to go. Oh and I almost forgot they have brand new big comfortable and clean showers and restrooms, that was what sealed the deal for me, and a laundry room. It was great.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Hone Fishing RV Resort! Shannon and her husband are knowledgeable about the area and gave us several great recommendations to explore. The resort is so clean and the bathrooms are so beautiful and roomy. We will definitely be back.
Safety: There is a locked access gate for after hours.

Nice pull-through spots for our 34’ 5th wheel. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Park is close to Lake Texoma.

I had a great time here. The owners Dwain and Shannon do a great job of keeping the park extremely well kept and are great people. I stayed in an apartment which was clean with modern appliances and TV as well as nice little touches everywhere you look. You’d also have a hard time finding nicer showers and bathrooms they have available downstairs anywhere. It was my first time on lake Texoma which is super close and had a blast on the Jet Skis they have available to rent. Definitely will be going back.

Nice small park very close to Lake Texoma. The site we had was plenty big enough for our coach and tow vehicle. The owners, Shannon & Dwayne are really great people and work very hard to keep this park nice. We enjoyed our visit very much and wish we could have stayed longer! Will definitely be back again if we are in the area.

If you like casino's, Hiking, or all there is to do at a Lake then this is your spot! Dwayne and Shannon are great people and owners! Some of the future plans for their park are going to make that place even better! We will definitely be back. I hate to say it but site 34 is probably the best site on the park! We will definitely go back soon!

Cold snap in Texas and I ran out of propane. The park I was staying at did not have a refill station and they directed me to Gone Fishing. Even though it was before office hours Dwayne responded to the “ring” notification and filled my tank! Very friendly and the park looked clean and well kept! Thanks!

We had a wonderful time there and the homemade pumpkin bread was delicious. The owners are so kind and thoughtful. They really made our weekend away wonderful. Can’t wait to go back.Nearby activities: Swimming and fishing and rock hunting , boatingSafety: The campground locks the gate at 5 but we all get a code so it just makes it safer for our belongings when we are all out doing our own things.Walkability: There’s plenty of trails to hike and explore.Noteworthy details: The place is beautiful , cut grass and just enough trees but they are not scraping your campers.

The owners are outstanding, and this resort is in the perfect location to hit Lake Texoma for some fishing. Definitely heading back for a visit.
