This is a members only mini style resort. As members we rented the venue for a large event. The venue itself is beautiful, and the front line staff is extremely helpful and courteous. However, after several weeks of preparing for the event, the week before we were suddenly hit with all kinds of additional fees that had not been discussed up to that point. On top of the room fees for all the hotel rooms, both tiny homes, and all 4 Camp Sundance cabins, and the food pricing which had all been agreed upon, we were informed at THIS POINT there would be a $3500 fee for the venue itself. Then when asked to please make sure that the heaters were all working (as this venue is mostly outdoors and there are standing heaters outside on a daily basis) we were informed there would be an additional $500 upcharge to use the heaters and we were not allowed to bring our own heaters for insurance purposes. As if this was not frustrating enough, we were constantly watched by management remotely by camera, and though there was not one single other member there at the bar or in the restaurant, were told we could not begin set up for the event which began at 6pm until 3pm. Thankfully we had many wonderful friends who pitched in and helped us get set up ahead of schedule and the front line staff was again very helpful, and the event came together beautifully. If you are a member, the venue is beautiful and seats a very large number of guests, but I would highly recommend getting a contract up front.*Post event update*1) Apparently because this was a special event, the prices of the drinks were raised (confirmed by regular members) AND they charged bar guests a $20 "delivery fee" on each of their tabs.2) Management falsely accused our party of stealing a bottle of Blueberry Vodka from the bar even though they had cameras watching all evening that clearly showed no guests going behind the bar.3) They only provided 1 key per each room/cabin. One of the guest locked their key in their room with their child inside. No one answered the emergency phone number we were given or returned the call. Because that guest went behind the desk in the lobby to find an additional phone number, management wanted to press trespassing charges against the guest.Needless to say, we will not be renting this venue again.

Very nice ranch and very rustic. Room was meh as there's no cell service, no wifi, no TV, no phone, no chair to sit in...so definitely want to make use of other amenities or price is too steep just for the stay.

Kristi does a great job overseeing the guest experience. A great place for a family reunion or private retreat! A beautiful place to get away and enjoy the peace of nature.

We LOVE Ian who tends the bar and many other aspects as well as Christy at the front. That being said, this membership club is far from being reputable. They cannot keep a chef, they do not allow food or Alcoholic spirits needed to be ordered and they have turned it into a cheap bar with Cadillac prices.

Sales brochure provided to my friend was false. Described breakfast buffet (not available), gourmet food of akaushi beef /lobster tail (only bar food available), massage (not available), lookout tower pictured (closed for years). Buyer beware.

Definitely fun to get out with family and friends to swim, play games like foosball, relax in a hot tub or steam room, play volleyball, eat at the restaurant, hike, trail ride, and watch something in the theater room. I always have a good time when I go.

Nice quiet escape! Wonderful staff, beautiful views. The food is great and they keep the pools looking gorgeous. Nice day trip and good accommodations if you want to stay the night.

We love coming out to Sundance! It’s the best staycation for us being only 30mins away! We love staying in their glamping rooms and hotel! Love the staff! This place is definitely a must!!
