Cost of fuel was lower priced than regular service stations but My car says expensive gas only so it gets to sputtering and jerking with HEB,s gas. ?

trying to get in touch, heb says their hiring in all sorts of departments. But when I go apply, and I applied for every single opening they had they still turned me down. i had many jobs and I been with Walmart for a year. I have the experience to work there. but don’t understand why yall say y’all are hiring but still turn me down.

As a born and raised Texan, I have been an HEB shopper for many years... it' used to be a friendly place with plenty of smiles and employees offering help! I am disappointed to say H-E-B has almost become a Walmart, there are plenty of people wandering around the store doing shopping orders for online and pick up plenty of people stocking the shelves but nobody looking you in the eye no one taking the time to ask if you need help.. I come all the way to Gonzales to shop because Lockhart H-E-B is way too crowded, And I have to say that the only person who was friendly today was the lady in the floral department who always , always offers to say hi even if I'm not buying flowers!! What happens to customer service if I want to shop for myself by myself and find things for myself I can go to Walmart and even check myself out!!! Disappointed texas shopper!!!

The worst HEB I've ever been to by far. I went in about 2 days ago and one of the items I bought was the triple chocolate cake over in bakery. They run about $6 and today when I took the first bite. It was dry and hard as f*** and the expiration date didn't expire till the 16 so it was still good. I took one bite then threw that nasty a** s*** in the trash. Great way to spend $6 on a dry ducking hard a** cake. It was like being served s*** on a silver platter. If you wants the freshest food possible I would avoid this store at all costs. HEB just lost another customer. The more they lose customers the less money they profit

Asked two employees tonight, when their lanes (1st and 2nd) were empty and they were just chatting, where to find an item I couldn't locate. They looked at me like I was completely stupid and there was a really weird silence followed by me repeating myself. I think when they realized I wasn't walking away, they asked another employee who said "uh, I don't know, try this aisle" which I said I had tried. They continued to just stare at me. I had to call my brother-in-law to see if he knew where it was and thankfully he did. Stood at an open register (register six) for twenty seconds after that - light was on and everything - and the employee looked at me then continued chatting with his friend instead of checking me out. Had to go to another register with no explanation to continue checking out. What a bunch of unhelpful, socially inept kids in that place, honestly. I know working retail ain't fine but I was being nice and was met with silence and the message that I should figure s*** out by myself. Wouldn't mind that at a tattoo parlor but at an HEB, it felt like the Twilight Zone. Geez. I will not be going back, and I recommend nobody go when the night shift is there. The heavier-set lady with short hair is nice though if you see her - she's the one that finally checked me out. Her boss should let her sit down and chill, because all the other employees certainly aren't lifting a finger.

Big red barn! This is a wild lookin' HEB- I've never seen one in a barn before! They've got all the best foods at the best prices around here. I came in here to get stocked up for a camping trip, and found all the goods I needed! I was surprised to see the size of their beer selection here. There wasn't much to it. They had the national brands and a very small selection of local beers. Shiner is a local beer here! The clerk seemed befuddled by the bar codes and it took an incredibly long time to get checked out. A manager was called over to help press the buttons repeatedly to get an item to ring up. It made me regret getting the meat from the butcher if it was going to take so long to get properly rang up. I did manage to get everything that I needed. They even have a small clearance section in the rear corner of the store. I found some pretty great stuff in there. Parking was easy.
