Very cute and quiet place. There are plenty of places to sit. The play equipment isn't the worst but definitely not brand new. There is a nice pavilion to have a party. There is a charming garden with a dinosaur theme.
The only drawback is the open water way next to the parks playground.

Limited in the way of stuff for kids, but very beautiful with a great walking trail. (Mind you this is from someone who was passing thru one time)

This is a great walking park. You can walk along the water, learn the history of the historic buildings, and relax.
Playground: Nice clean playground with a great view.
Toilets: Clean bathrooms
Dog-friendliness: We saw people walking their dogs. They had dog poop bags available also.
Picnic area: Nice area to have a picnic.

We went on an Easter Egg hunt for my grandson's preschool. Then they had a party under the pavilion, and next the kids played on the playground.

Great location for a walk and the kids to play. There is a restroom and picnic tables in the shade!

My kids and I had a great time at this park while my husband went to the hotel and unpacked our stuff. The playground was nice and the little creek that runs into the river was a fun little shallow spot for them to play in to burn off some energy
