Long wait on hold. Apparently they cannot figure how long wait times are so they just make up hold times. You will be on hold forever.

I have found the office staff to always be courteous, friendly and always very helpful. The service people never leave a mess or any trash. The only problem is that there is no grace period. If you forget to pay, your trash will not be picked up. But even with that they have sometimes called to remind me, which I appreciate bc I get busy and sometimes just forget to pay the bill.

They suck I have used them and they never pickup all my trash going elsewhere. I even offered to help throw it in the trash truck and they wanted to charge me an additional $2.00 a bag

This place is awful. They have missed picking up my trash several times. Impossible to get a hold of anyone. Guess they don’t work in the office till 10am...must be nice. Not convenient for their paying customers!

"Customer service" is a foreign phrase to these folks. When they do pick up your trash, everything is fine. But, if they drive by without picking up your trash, you can forget about them coming back or making a special trip to pick up what they have already been paid for. If you call their office to find out what they are going to do about your full trash cart that they missed, you will likely be told that they will check on it and call you back (that happened to me three times in less than a year). Well, don't hold your breath waiting for them to call you back, because you will not get a return phone call. They seem to look at it as though, "Hey, we got our money in advance, so we're good. We'll see you on your next regularly scheduled pick up date next week." I think of it more as theft; they have been paid for a service that they have not delivered.

Rude office staff (if they answer the phone), and service is marginal at best. I have had a billing problem going on six months now, which is still unresolved. Save time and look elsewhere.

Skipped my trash for a few weeks and when you try to call any pay they never answer ? I've called plenty of times spaced out and still no answer they need to empty the voicemail box so new messages could be left very disappointed in this service

Terrible service. Trash man was very rude and threw a bag of trash in my yard saying it was too heavy. Then he skipped my home the last 2 weeks. Will be looking for a new service

Highly Recommend!We have had Lone Star for 2 years now. The first year it was included in our rent and the garbage removal was wonderful. So wonderful in fact that when we moved and had to choose our own garbage removal service, Lone Star was the only company I considered.We had an error where the payment had not been processed on the account properly so our trash was not picked up. When I called in, they promptly fixed the problem and sent someone out to our house with his truck and trailer and removed all of our trash same day.They are not terribly picky about the way you throw out your trash, nor are they too picky about what they will dispose of for you.I will recommend Lone Star to anyone who asks, I hope they will add recycle to this one day, but for now the Citizens Collection Station will do just fine.

Make sure you don't put anything in the trash can that's not allowed... They will toss it in your yard instead of placing it on top of the can.VERY DISRESPECTFUL COMPANY AND EMPLOYEES

They have real issues with their office and billing. They don't send bills, and you can't pay online. The only way you know it is time is when they call and threaten to stop service. The trash guys themselves do a decent job because I have one of those bins.
