So unreal to literally walk in the footprints of dinosaurs! Head to spot #2 to see the "Main Track Site" (there is a parking lot and you can walk 2 minutes to see the few remaining tracks there). Then, definitely head over to spot #3/4 (the Blue Hole and the Ballroom Dance) where you can swim in the cool water and see hundreds of footprints! So worth the $8 pp entry fee.

Was an awesome visit, the little gift shop there was pretty cool, really nice staff. Plenty too see at this State Park, especially if the water is low so you can see the tracks!

We had so much fun at Dinosaur Valley State Park. People of all ages can become junior park rangers and earn a junior park ranger badge. The Dino tracks were visible in the Paluxy River. Be sure to visit the museum in the headquarters building.

Nice gift shop. Independent of the park. We were able to find some things for the kids!

The page offers entry for 8 dollars... It costs 22 already with taxes... It's fine, but some figures need a lot of maintenance. Excellent for children, for adults... I would expect a place to eat which... There isn't one.

Great place to be with family. The tracks are slippery, bring rain boots or water proof shoes to cross the river.

The store is cute, has a ton of fun T-shirts and merch (especially in recent years as interest in the footprints has increased) and there are restrooms nearby. Definitely stop here after your camping or hiking trip.Edit: note that the photos you occasionally see of Dinosaur World in peoples' reviews are not in fact part of the state park (or their store), those are further down the road.
