My daughter's car broke down, and she limped it to the shop after replacing the coil packs in the O'Reilly parking lot. I assumed the next step was a fuel pump. They correctly diagnosed that it had skipped timing. They repaired quickly and reasonably. Handled everything over the phone with great communication via office staff.

Latest update: They always get the inspections done fast, front desk persons need better customer service skills as they can still be curt and do not reflect a kind front. I upped the stars to 3 because of the prompt inspections. And over hearing some of their quotes I believe the repairs are reasonably sounding.

A++ These people know how to do things right, my inspection took less than 15 mins when I walked in. Other places the wait can be dreadful just for a 10 min job. Prices seem to be reasonable, the staff seems to be knowledgeable. I don't give many 5 starts but I believe this company deserves it. I do most auto work myself and I had listened to a few of the quotes they were giving others and I thought to myself, that's not a bad price and the detail of tech notes seem to be above standard.
** Update, the younger lady that answers the phones and talks to customers is most often rude, in tone, very abrupt, and curt. That's why I took off 1 star.
** Update, took off all stars. I had my car in the body shop, they brought it to Sylvins for a 4 wheel alignment, alignment paper shows only front two wheel were aligned, rear not touched due to needing more work. A week goes by I get the car back from the body shop, fixed the rear so it could align, now they do not want to finish the job that was paid for originally. IF they were charged originally for 2 wheel alignment then I would understand that I would have to pay. They would rather lose a customer and potentially others than to make the accomodation. Plus the younger lady was off putted by me asking them to pull up the original invoice. Not professional.

My daughter was driving home from Houston and her car died when she stopped for a signal. The Giddings police had it towed to a truck stop, I had it towed to Silvans the next morning. The people there couldn't have been nicer, said they were backed up, but could look at it in the next couple of days. Unfortunately, when they did look, the car was dead and needed a new engine (side note: a Chevy Equinox will die at about 170,000 miles. I've had two, same fate for both. My sister had one, hers caught fire . Don't buy one. If you have one already, get rid of it before the miles get high). New engine was $5900 bucks, so I sold it to a junk yard. But. Silvans allowed me to leave it at their place for the week it took to find a wrecking yard and were quite nice. Oh. They charged me a hundred bucks for diagnosis. Extremely nice people. If I lived in Giddings, they would be doing my maintenance.

Unfortunately they’re too busy so I don’t have experience with this shop. Staff seemed friendly, but they are far behind on repairs, having to schedule weeks out.

I have had 2 oil changes already done here and one battery replaced. I love how fast they always fit me in even if I call the same day! Great staff all around:)

Loved coming here, had a few iffy experiences and still decided to come here for inspections, oil changes, etc. but I never know if they’re going to pass me for inspection even if they have passed my vehicle before with the same modifications that they are now saying won’t pass. Just super inconsistent. Truly do feel I was always treated differently here. I won’t be coming back.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Shout out to the young woman manning the desk for kindly checking the pressures on my tires. I was in route from Austin to Conroe, when the tire pressure light came on at Paige. Definitely bookmarking this garage in case I need repair assistance during a trip!
