What a cute cottage! I had seen it a couple times in passing and we popped in today for a quick look through. We found lots of cute Knick knacks for homes and we were informed of some sales with clothing as well as shoes. I wish I had some more time, but I can’t wait to stop back by and pick some things up.

Every time I come visit my mom in Georgetown, I make at least a couple trips to this fabulous boutique. It’s fun, it’s affordable and so creative! A must stop for all gift and clothing lovers.

I hate to leave a negative review, especially for small local businesses with such lovely and dedicated owners, but as a Christian I can’t recommend Urban Cottage because, at the time of writing this, they openly sell Wiccan & New Age products (like ‘smudging’ which the owner told me they won't stop selling as its very popular with local real estate agents who gift them to clients). Also, the day I went, I struggled with my young ‘hands-on’ grabby kid - it’s kinda tight inside, packed with merchandise geared towards adults, and a chunky stroller would be impossible. I'd like to note that the store is very cute, the novel items were well displayed and the owner was super nice, polite and very professional!! I just can't shop there due to religious reasons.

I was pleasantly surprised at the prices here. Nothing over the top and for the originality the store has it is worth your stop. It's a hidden gem for clothes and what not gifts. Stop by and see what they have.

I am going to have to respectfully disagree with a previous comment/review of Urban Cottage being a Wiccan or New Age shop. It IS a lovely boutique that carries women’s clothing, local artisan jewelry, home decor and lovely gift items!! The mother and daughter who are the owners are professional, friendly and welcoming to all of their customers! It is my one-stop-shop for clothing and buying gifts. If it fits into any one category, it would be a cozy, small town boutique with a variety of unique and affordable items to buy or put on your wish list!! The venue is a darling old house on Williams Drive in Georgetown, Texas, which fits the vibes of this small business to a tee!! Shop local and shop small!!
