Looks like their website has not been updated for a while. I was told that since Covid, there is no more 9 am and 11 am worship hours. There is only a 10 am worship. There is a 9 am Bible Study session.

The pastors provide so much teaching that meets my spiritual needs and growth. Many women's ministries that are easy to get involved with. Contemporary and traditional services.

I am so sorry for the experience that John E. and his family had. My husband and I are members of The Worship Place. We have lived here 2 years, and started out at a church in Georgetown, that was our protestant denomination. We visited The Worship Place with friends in our neighborhood, and found it very friendly. In fairness, we are a senior couple, and we didn't have visiting family. Ultimately, we did join The Worship Place, and we attend at the Rocky Hollow campus. I would love, love to see visiting families with children come to our service. I love it when grandchildren visit, and would be very comfortable bringing ours to the service.

They had a beautiful Christmas service with a choir & orchestra. I plan to attend service there again, when I visit my sister.

Truly a house of God, the message, music, and Congregation are just the best. Two campuses, one with a traditional service and the other a Praise and Worship service provide worship to your preference. Our Pastors preach from the Holy Bible and are outstanding in deliverance of the Word. Give the Church a try, you won't be disappointed. God bless all who read this review.

I have never felt more unwelcome anywhere in my life, much less a church. Worship Place is not a welcome place.First, I understand that this church is in Sun City Georgetown and primarily serves retirees and senior citizens, but you would think those people have families who would regularly visit with them. So when I showed up with wife and baby in tow, I already expected to have the only child in the building. I certainly did not expect the coldness and even outright hatefulness we experienced. The sermon was watered down fluff, but again to be fair, this is an interdenominational church more concerned about not offending anyone and trying to appeal to a wide range of theologies. So I took it with the audience in mind. The audience at Worship Place, however, was the problem. When we walked in no one bothered to welcome us. When we were discussing where to sit to be least disruptive if we had to take the baby out, a man approached us and suggested we go to their other campus. The service was already starting at this point. When I explained to him that we were visiting with my parents, he went away, but I've never had a parishioner approach me and suggest that I leave and go to another church before. On the way out, one sweet lady did say, 'Oh, it's been so long since we've had a baby here!' with genuine warmth. But this experience was immediately negated by a man yelling, 'Ma'am could you move please?' at my wife so a lady with a walker could walk where she was walking toward the door.Seriously? There was room to go around and everyone was moving the same direction toward the door. You feel the need to yell at my wife in church and push through because... what? You're really that much more important than me?None of us are perfect, but this Worship Place in Sun City Georgetown is COLD. Very unforgiving and unwelcoming. My parents are going to find another church and we won't ever, ever be back. If you have a family that you want to visit with you, stay clear. It came across as a hateful mob of bitter old men and women, not a welcome and loving congregation. You can find a much warmer and more welcoming congregation than Worship Place in Sun City anywhere.

TWP Sun City campus is a loving, warm, church that is Bible based. Kids are a delight to have visit. TWP Rocky Hollow Campus has children's facilities and children Bible programs. Dr Kelly Barnett is a fabulous preacher of the Bible at both campuses.

Very friendly congregation, made our visit a great experience. Pastors message was inspired and the sprint of Christ was evident.

The Worship Place provides excellent opportunities to learn and understand our creator in simple, direct terms. It is an awesome, holy experience.
