This place deserves more than 5 stars! They helped my family and I out when we were in need of some help after I lost my job. All of the staff was very patient and kind with explaining the process of trying to get assistance. They gave me clear instructions of all the documents they needed for me to bring in to try and help me. They paid more than half of my rent and then gave me papers with a list of more places that could possibly help me with extra bills that they were unable to cover. Also they gave me access to the food pantry so I was able to have groceries and gave me a credit to get some necessities at the thrift store. Forever grateful!

This place is really huge! They have several rooms separated into different types of merchandise to make it a bit easier to find what you are searching for. They really have about anything you might need, from clothing and shoes to home decor, household items and even furniture.

The star is only there because I had to put one, the worst experience ever trying to get assistance. They don't allow you to email paperwork, will not print for, I had to leave multiple times to get paperwork only to be told they couldn't use my lease, they never not necessarily asked why I came, just what type of help. Had they actually gave a damn and looked at my notice to vacate they would have known my lease is current. I wouldn't refer my worst enemy there.

Love this place, so much. They are a thrift store that uses the money they make to help the community. It all goes back to the people of Georgetown. When I was young and having a hard time, they have paid my rent, got my car fixed, and have helped with food. Now I make sure all my extra clothes or things I no longer need go to them so they can sell them. Please donate and shop here before any corporate place.
Its also a great place to get holiday decorations and so much ,or for cheap :).
My only issue is their pricing, needs to be more consistent. Since its volunteers, some do better than others.

It’s sad when one person can ruin the whole business. It’s called the caring place. This employee that is putting the Christmas room together needs another training. Make sure you block this room off until it is done. Unfortunately, I ventured in and was talked to like a 5 year old.
I will not return.

Please, please, please have your people in the back trained to move things more carefully. We know they are donated to you but we are paying money for them. We have noticed a man on his own moving nice furniture on its side on a dolly with no blanket to protect the side of the piece. We recently bought a lovely desk that was moved this way and left on its side on the asphalt outside with a bunch of new scratches not there when we bought the piece. Thank you.

They have helped me - and probably an immense amount of others - with so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This place gives me hope. If you need assistance with food or really anything, they will help you and they will do so happily.

Store was fine. Cashier was very rude. We came in on a Saturday and my mother had picked out an item without a price tag. We came to the cashier and she immediately said, no price tag, no sale and set them off to the side with a very sarcastic “sorry.”I don’t know how you can work in a job that deals with people when they can’t at least try to be kind.

This is the best thrift shop in town, by far! The merchandise is great, prices are fair and the volunteers are nice. Best of all is knowing that the money I spend here is used to help people in our community with food and other needs.

Pains me to do this, I love the staff and have loved the store for years. They’ve have helped me alot. With that being said I’ve been in there many times since 10/23 and noticed the prices have been hiked up. The reason I don’t goto goodwill is cause their greedy business practices of getting free items and trying to get rich selling them for too much money. A regular little pan for 12$ that would be 5/6$. A toy truck for 25$ and it’s missing the remote.I loved this place for years but don’t expect everyone to just accept the unreasonable price hikes, cause it’s not what we signed up for. It’s not like y’all need more money, stop being greedy. Jesus would not approve

I love this non-profit! They have good prices and a great assortment of items for sale in the resale store. All the items are donated and the funds raised go to help the community. They have a food pantry and help with household expenses when you're down on your luck. At a time when Goodwill has seemed to up-charge for everything, this is a great alternative. I donate all my lightly used items here! They also have special events that are fun to attend a few times per year.
