Picture of menus (off menu are breakfast tacos using all the typical ingredients with salsa. The tacos are fresh, not greasy and substantial. The salsa is mediocre red but free with purchase. Convenient spot inside Sun City.

Great stereotypical greasy spoon at which to meet fellow Sun Citians for a standard American breakfast or lunch. Or for coffee. Attentive service; good food. I am grateful to have such a go-to place at which to meet Sun City friends.

Just watched "Ashley" behave with total disrespect to an elderly customer who was having issues pumping his gas. He returned to the store three times asking for help and Ashley not only treated him like he was an imbecile, when I made eye contact with her she laughed, rolled her eyes, and shook her head. I immediately told her she was being disrespectful, to which she argued that HE was the issue. I asked for the managers name and I absolutely intend to contact him. Oh, and no 1% mill available and EVERY bottle of 2% is days out of date. Definitely do not recommend.

There are some awful reviews here, but i have always had good service and good food at City Market. I especially love their hamburgers ... delicious.

Have enjoyed the hamburgers. We haven't had any problems with orders, or quality. The meat is good, hand pattied. Fresh lettuce and tomato. The few people I've talked to enjoy their meals here. IDK what's going on with everyone else who gave bad reviews, but I hope it doesn't happen to me.

I just received the most horribly obnoxious comment from the blond young lady who was running the cash register at City Market about 10 minutes ago. I pulled into the parking lot and had to navigate around approximately 10 landscape trucks with trailers. They were occupying nearly every pump and the majority of the parking lot itself. When I told the cashier that a lot of Sun City residents were complaining, myself included, that the trucks were blocking the entrance, etc., I was told that the landscaping crews were only there for 40 minutes a day for their lunch/dinner break and that I would just have to either put up with their illegal parking, or come 40 minutes before they come, or 40 minutes after. I told her that was a very poor response and lacked any sense of customer service. She responded that I would simply have to put up with it and that they were customers, too, and that she thought she was giving very good customer service. HEY CITY MARKET, pandering to the temporary landscaping crews to the detriment of the residents of Sun City and telling the Sun City residents to put up or not come back is HORRENDOUS customer service. She needs to be pulled from her job in the front of the house and/or lose her job. She made this comment in front of other Sun City Residents. I told her I was going to call her manager and she simply shrugged her shoulders.

I worked for this store, the owner did not pay me my days to work there. Why did I leave ... I just didn't like their food and how dirty it is ... I couldn't be there, I'm not 100% grateful because every time I tried to get my payment they were very rude to me.

The City Market is a convenience store and full-menu restaurant. I live in the area and think it is great to have this place nearby. I got the chicken fried steak dinner this time - it was wonderful! Real mashed potatoes! Yummy and large steak! The help was friendly and the convenience store has wine too! If you are accustomed to the Ritz in the city you may look down your nose at the place, but if you are a red-blooded, fly-over country American you will like the place.

This place is like most of the women I date, rude and dirty. Even their wooden sign outside by the sidewalk is rotten. If the Seinfeld Soup N*** were a real person they would be working here.

My parents live in sun city and my cousin works there. The food really is good. Not sure if people went on a bad day but food is good and the people are nice. We don't usually eat in but I'm sure it's hard to please all the sun city folks! Stop by and grab some lunch!

Stopped for breakfast in while touring Sun City. Small coffee shop style dining within a small grocery store. Breakfast was great and very reasonable. Store is like a 7-11 with a good selection of wine and beer.

Dreadful service - 35 minutes for a burger - no refills on coffee - and an argumentative server who felt compelled to defend herself when i asked "Thirty-five minutes for a burger and coffee?" She explained that the cook in the kitchen was new, and did not his way around the kitchen yet, and was having trouble with the electric cook top. What restaurant cooks with an electric cook top? So, everyone was helping out in the kitchen. Still never got a refill on my coffee. Don't waste you time or money. These folks haven't a clue what customer service is, and if you point out your observations, they act like they could care less. Eventually they posted a sign on the door stating that the kitchen was closed - in the middle of the day - and people got up and walked out. This business model does not fit in Sun City. Fix it or get rid of it.

All I can say is don't come here if you have any lottery tickets to redeem. Chris, City Market employee will greet you as you walk in the door,"I don't have any money in my register!" He is the most obnoxious N*** employee EVER! I have asked owner/manager to call me regarding my complaint and no return call. IF they SELL lottery tickets,, they should CASH them!
