I used to love shopping here and spent a lot of money in this store. As a daughter of one of the original people involved in starting the Caring Place, I was appalled at this store today. The prices are now outrageous and the management is beyond rude.
Today I found a set of dishes (4 plates and 4 cups) priced at $350. I was familiar with them so I said (nicely) that it was a very high price. The manager said very rudely "actually, it's a very fair price compared to eBay". It was evident she wanted to shut me down.
I walked away, found something in the bargain area for $6 and went to check out. I mentioned to the cashier that I was not interested in the dishes but wanted to show them that the exact same set sells all day long on eBay for $100. I was told I needed to talk to the manager. The manager looked at me and said "goodbye. Have a nice day." I said "hey, I'm not interested in these but just wanted to show you that they are in fact priced very high (3.5 times high)". I showed her multiple sold auctions at $100. She wanted nothing to with the conversation, told me it was fair and started talking loudly over me saying "have a nice day! Goodbye!" and she walked off. She was INCREDIBLY rude.
I was just a customer trying to show them that they will never sell something at 3.5 times the eBay price. If they are truly trying to help people, shouldn't they want to actually sell things? These items are donated to them. They receive them for free. They are selling at antique store prices- even higher. It was shocking to see how much they've raised their prices and how rude their manager was. They have lost a customer for good.
One star because I had to put one.

More of an antique store rather than a thrift store. Prices are mediocre.

Nice store, beautifully laid out. It’s kind of fun to come in and see the items that they have, but prices are way over the top expensive, basically at retail. I understand that this is the nicer stuff from the things that get donated to them, but these items are close to eBay prices. Except with eBay you get the full selection of whatever you want, at a thrift store you only get a limited selection. Also their prices have gone up over the last 2 years pretty significantly. The staff is hit or miss, one of the ladies was pretty grumpy but the other one was a delight to talk to.

If you are looking for affordable second hand items, you may want to try a different store. There are many second hand stores that offer great deals on gently used items.Considering that everything was donated and most of the staff are volunteers there is no reason why items should be priced at department store prices.I know the economy with this administration is in the toilet. But this organization has very little overhead considering that they have a Federal tax exemption status.I'm sure some will not agree with my review but at the end of the day the board members are the ones making a six figures salaries on the backs of siblings who are clearing out their childhood homes of all furniture and treasured possessions that their parents or grandparents spent a lifetime acquireing and collecting....If you really want to help the needy look into the Salvation Army.Salvation Army runs thrift stores to raise money to fund their homeless shelters and disaster relief efforts....Remember, Goodwill’s charity is … running Goodwill stores. That’s it. They don’t donate money to anyone. They in fact pay their store employees below minimum wage, under the theory that they are providing “job training”. Convicts and felons are also court oreded to report to do community service which is basically free labor.....

Dropped by yesterday and the staff was so sweet and helpful. They had some very cute things and decent prices. Inventory is always changing so I will continue to stop in. I was looking for a specific piece of furniture and haven't found it yet.

Camille is a terrible manager. Extremely rude and disrespectful to all customers and volunteers/employees. Product prices are overly inflated and Camille is very short and disrespectful when this is questioned.

This business sits back about 100 feet from Williams Road on a gravel driveway. This was formerly a residential home that has been converted into a thrift store. Calling this place a thrift store is misleading since the prices for everything are more in line with consignment store prices. Everything is well laid out and nicely displayed. The store is open 10 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Tuesday is 10% off everything.

This store is just adorable. I went to this store after going to an estate sale and about kicked myself because they had so many cute silver plated tea sets for around $35 I had just bought one at the estate sale for $45! The stuff there is priced very reasonably and the place is decorated so thoughtfully. The lady working the counter had nothing but wonderful things to say about the store and was very friendly. I took so many pictures of this place for my husband and can't wait to take him there!

The place was beautiful, but the staff was rude. I was interested in a piece of furniture but the staff seemed annoyed with me when I was looking at it. I also asked if the pricing was firm and the staff treated me like I was stupid for even asking. The item was higher than most similar new items listed online. I tried to look at the rest of the shop but just left after been talked to so rudely. I haven't been so unwelcome in a thrift store before. Don't think I'll be going back soon.

I was driving by & decided to take a look. Nice, higher end merchandise in a home setting. Excellent job with merchandising & organizing. Not cluttered at all! Lots of interesting & unique finds, and friendly, helpful staff. I'll be visiting again soon!
