Went in for a light trim since I am growing my hair long... I was charged 50.00!! I am a guy, the cut took 15 minutes. I called in to express my concern with the owner and was told I would hear back within 24 hours. That was 3 weeks ago, guess I won't be hearing back.
If you don't like cutting men's hair then just say so.
I am moving on...
The "stylist" said she was married to the owners son...sad

46 years of experience and business shows! Maggie is a five star stylist with a wonderful family operated salon. My hair cut is perfect and affordable....finally found my hair spot in Georgetown.

I found a hairdresser here years ago that I have used and for many years and followed her to another location when she left there. I loved her but she left the business. I thought I'd try my luck again. I took a picture of my haircut that I have worn for a long time so she could see what I wanted. I ended up with a long mullet. She's was a nice person, she was prompt and the salon is lovely. She did cut the back off to make it join with the sides when I asked her to and it looks better. I just didn't get what I asked for.

I am new to Georgetown and if anyone knows what it is like to find a new hair salon, you will understand the frustration. Maggie's was my third attempt. I am not a youngster. I have a brother that is an exceptional hair stylist. So a lot to live up to. I was so happy to find Maggie's. She and her staff are warm and friendly. She is a hair magician. So glad I found Maggie's.
