This store always has a strange smell and never really clean . Went there to purchase Benadryl , the lady informed me that you have to be 40 years old to purchase Benadryl . I’ve never heard of anything like that .

When you call this pharmacy, you are assisted by a remote worker that is not in store , rude, and has zero critical thinking skills. Would not recommend this location.

Walgreens has all your drug store products you need, along with a great pharmacy .You can also do your banking needs if you have CHIME as your online Bank. I came today to deposit money in my Chime account. There was a lady in line that had her hands full of big stuff animals. They were the really soft puffy ones. They had them all on sale for 1/2 off. They were so soft that I had to get me one too.
Anyway it's a great place to shop all your pharmaceutical needs plus more. Have a great day ?.

They have messed up a single prescription 3 times now. Last week they told me it was approved through insurance and it would be filled Saturday. Sunday I called and they didn't have enough medicine, and the automated system had the wrong dosage. I had to tell the pharmacist it was wrong. They fixed and ordered. It finally came in and insurance doesn't cover it. Their coupon system is down, and $750 is not something we can afford. The doctor is closed and my son is out of medicine, and the pharmacy shows no accountability for their mistakes.

I saw my psychiatrist virtually. He sent my adderall prescription to this location due to my normal location not having 30 mg in stock.
I called the store to make sure they received my prescription, in which they stated they had it and were going to fill it shortly. I was out of town for Easter, so when I got back in to town, I went to pick up the prescription before having to leave out of town same day for work.
Upon arrival to the drive thru, the pharmacy manager/pharmacist Wayne came to the phone to tell me that my prescription is denied and that the computer had locked it out from being able to be filled, because my psychiatrist is in Abilene and the distance wasn’t within a certain range. However, I have been able to fill my prescription at a different Walgreens location down the street multiple times, Austin, and San Marcos without any issues. I didn’t argue at the drive thru and left after he stated I needed to call my psychiatrist and/or get a doctor in the Dallas area.
I called Walgreens back after researching and spoke to Wayne on the phone about my prescription. I asked why the other locations were able to fill my prescription multiple times without issues but he was unable to. He stated, “The other Walgreens overrided the lock.” I then followed up with, “I thought you said you couldn’t override the lock?” He responded, “I can but i don’t want to get written up for doing so because corporate said we can’t refill a prescription from a virtual doctor that isn’t in the area.” I asked why and Wayne stated “To protect against fraudulent refills.” I stated I could provide proof that the prescription was not fraudulent. I asked Wayne who to contact to make a complaint. He provided the name Gina to call tomorrow and instructions on how to write a complaint. Wayne stated that he will refill and give my prescription today, so long as I write a complaint online. I acknowledge and complied. Wayne provided me with my prescription.

Although I typically prefer Walgreens pharmacies, this location is horrible. The staff are slow, rude, and frequently delay me getting my prescriptions. I found out why this was when I had this misfortune of interacting with the pharmacy manager, Gina Nguyen. She had no idea why the status of my prescription changed and in trying to find out she was horrible. She shouldn't be involved in healthcare at all. Because of this singular interaction I will be transferring thousands of dollars of medications to another pharmacy.

I have used this Walgreens for about a year now, and have been frustrated with long wait times, unexplained delays on prescriptions, and unhelpful staff, but I had an experience recently that has earned this review.
I received an alert in my Walgreens app to call this pharmacy about a prescription. When I called, the pharmacist had no idea why I received the alert or what was causing my prescription to be delayed. I asked additional questions, and the pharmacist was condescending, rude, and unhelpful. Her name is Gina Nguyen, she is the manager of the pharmacy, and she gave me the WORST interaction I have ever had with a pharmacist. She has no right working in any job that requires customer service, and because of her I will be transferring my business away from Walgreens altogether. Shame on her for speaking this way to sick customers trying to get their medications.

The Pharmacy techs were EXTREMELY rude and lazy!! They told me that my prescription would be done at a certain time and I get there and it’s still not ready. Don’t say something if you can’t fulfill. I also wanted to put my phone number in when my prescription was finally ready so I can receive my points with their reward program and the lady insist I Pay for the items first and then she can update my phone number. I looked at her crazy and said I do not need to update my phone number. I just need to input my phone number so I can accumulate my points with your reward system. I means that’s why y’all have this reward program for right?1? They just seem so incompetent at the pharmacy! They need better training all around and definitely in the Customer service area! Arguing back and forth with a customer if they do not want to do something is not ok and unacceptable. And the manager on duty was no help either she didn’t know nothing when asked from a distance. She didn’t even have time to come over to assist the pharmacy tech.I will not be back to this location due to the poor customer service I received but upper management will be notified about this.

This review is for Mai, the pharmacy tech. She is outstanding and goes beyond the call of duty to service the customers. She was so helpful and even though it was crowded she was able to hold that level of customer service for everyone there. You don't see that often since the pandemic.
