Unfortunately, this is the body shop that Land Rover Dallas recommends for their body work. I would go somewhere else. This is my 3rd time having a car with Snell Collision, and each time has been progressively worse than the last. This last repair, they were overbooked. They have too many cars and it took 2 months for them to get mine in. Fortunately, we were proactive and made sure they received the check from insurance and ordered the parts BEFORE we turned the car in. BE CAREFUL! They were going to have us turn in the car before even ordering the parts which would have meant the car was just sitting in their shop before the parts even came in. The backlog is challenging but not the weakest part of their customer service. The real pitfall for Snell is the complete lack of communication. If we called or emailed our estimator, there was a 20% chance we would get a returned communication. He never met any of the timelines he gave us for estimations on car completion dates which became really challenging after 4 weeks when our insurance no longer covered our rental. Given that they work on high-end cars, ideally, you would get updates (via email, phone call, text, ANYTHING) as your car progresses. I called on a weekly basis for 5 weeks. We could never get our estimator on the phone. The estimator did offer to bring our car to our home once he knew how frustrated I was with his lack of communication. That was a great service. Unfortunately, when the car arrived, there was still damage that was supposed to be fixed. That was over 5 weeks ago, and I still have not heard a peep from them (communication gap) about where the remaining damaged piece is or when they plan to finish the job. While the work completed was great, I do not recommend using Snell until they can get their estimator some help with his communication or utilize a system that provides automated updates as the car progresses through the various stages of repair.

So far, a bad experience in terms of time to repair my Defender and even simply keeping me up to date on what's going on. Can I rate zero stars? That's about what they deserve

The technicians at this auto repair shop are very efficient and understand the importance of quick diagnoses and repairs. I have never had to wait too long for my car to be ready.

Chris Dockery was a terrible communicator. I had a discussion with him personally about it. Many snags happened during the repair process that were not told to me. Let me be clear... it was not the supply chain problem. I understand those details. I was disappointed that I did not find out that the wheel was done incorrectly the first time and had to be sent back. Leaving me with several extra days to pay out of pocket for additional days on my rent car.Service: Body & Trim

Nothing was fixed after 7 weeks in the shop for a minor bumper damage. Lack of communication and absence of accountability. Chris is not very responsive or responsible. He did not return phone calls or messages. They need a better customer serviceService: Body & Trim

James Bishop at Snell turned what was a horrible experience with my car insurance into a complete success. His communication and interpersonal skills are impeccable. My insurance should take training from James instead of investing in their idiotic & stale Flo commercials… My 2021 Jaguar was treated with complete care, bravo to the service team!

All though our vehicle was eventually deemed totaled by the insurance company, we were very happy with Snell collision. All the employees went out of their way to help us during this stressful time and I definitely appreciate their professionalism and knowledge. Highly recommended.
