This entire process of getting my a/c and windows installed has been a very frustrating experience. I have been hung up on, transferred and placed on hold more times than i can count. On top of all of this Sears miraculously lost my order, which royally made me angry. Their promise of sears shop your way points and carrier cool cash is a total scam. No one knows anything about this and will constant transfer you until you end up giving up. Also, their automated system is the worst I have ever experienced in my life.

We purchased a NEW IN BOX $2500 refrigerator only to have it leaking as soon as it was installed on 5/21/2020. I have called the warranty line over and over only to wait 20 minutes on hold each time, sometimes speaking to someone unqualified that gives me incorrect information, and have me run around calling the store I purchased it from, being transferred to customer service and then back to technical support to find out a service tech needed to come out. The service tech was from a third party and came out 2 weeks ago, about 1 week and a half after purchase to diagnose the issue. He barely looked at it and stated that Kenmores have LG parts and are known to have an issue. He ordered the parts. They scheduled a service for 06/15/2020 (Monday) between 8am - 5pm. I took the DAY OFF and no one ever showed up. I called at 4PM, left a voicemail and no one ever called back. Wednesday they called to schedule the appointment for today 6/19/2020. They didn't even apologize for completely not showing up on Monday and we had to bring it to their attention. I understand, it wasnt the third parties issue, they said that Sears double booked them. Anyway, the same tech guy came out, changed out the main valve and door valve on the new fridge and left. IT IS STILL LEAKING! I called Service warranty to have them come back out, waited ANOTHER 18 minutes, phone was answered and then disconnected! That is why I decided to write this review, they are unprofessional, and keep giving you the run around! I am currently on hold and it has been 24 minutes. I just want my fridge working you guys. I have been nice on the phone every time and I will continue to be nice to the customer service agent because I know it is not their fault. But for the previous person to answer and hang up is totally unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. If possible, I will most likely need to schedule service tech to come back out and re-diagnose. It has been almost 1 month since the fridge has been installed, and we have yet to use the ice dispenser because of this major leak. I know, not a big deal, but when you pay $2500 and its your first home purchase, you would like for things to work nice. We were willing to have it fixed and move on with our lives. NEVER BUYING KENMORE AGAIN. I had NO idea that they were this bad!

Scheduling online was easy enough. I’ve used Sears in past years to repair my old washer and dryer and was pleased. This new iteration is a corporate shake down. After I waited the entire 4 hour window for the tech to show up, I called the phone number listed and was connected with someone in Asia who was reading from a script and couldn’t tell me why I hadn’t received the late notice the confirmatory email had promised, nor could he give me an ETA for when the tech would show up. He did show soon after. Technician himself was okay, but he had to toe the party line as well. It took him 15 minutes to tell me the heater coils were bad, and then told me it would be $430 to fix. I realized that was highway robbery. He offered to do it for half that IF I would buy a Sears warranty for $50 a month. With a quick check online I found the cost to fix my dryer should be around $250, but I’d already wasted a day off work and would have to pay a $100 diagnostic fee anyway and then find someone who would not shake me down to fix it. No way was I paying $600 for a years worth of warranty. I reluctantly agreed to the rip off price, but shame on you, Sears. No wonder you are in bankruptcy. I will never buy a Sears product again.
