Sams Club has amazing deals on groceries. As well as an amazing food court. I find it entertaining to shop here and highly recommend Sam's to anyone.

If I could give them a "zero stars", I would. Do not bother trying to get a delivery order from the Sam's Club in Garland, TX. I should have learned the first time they failed to bother to deliver my order and just cancelled it with no notification or permission. I guess that is how they deal with unhappy customers ... just cancel them ... too much "woke" philosophy for me!!! I placed an order on July 28, 2023, split into two parts ... part for delivery to my home (2 miles from Sam's) on July 29, 2023 between noon and 2pm, and part for shipping. At 7pm on July 29th, I called Sam's and asked where my order was. They told me "the delivery guy didn't show up ... sorry ... and offered to resched for Sunday, July 30th, between noon and 2pm. Since I had ordered perishables, I had to be home to get the order and put it away. So, here it is, Monday afternoon, July 31st, at 2pm and still no delivery, I spent 15 minutes calling Sam's with no answers and two immediate hang ups without them saying a word. When I finally had someone bother to answer their phone, they told me that it was the fault of their delivery company and I would need to contact them. I advised Sam's that my "contract" was with them and THEY were responsible for the delivery. So they supposedly referred it to the store manager who was supposed to call me with information. I got on their chat bot and was told they had no number for corporate complaints ... I could just send them a letter by snail mail. So I researched and found corporate complaints number, called them, and told them what I had experienced. They looked into it and said I did not need to worry ... my order had been CANCELLED without my knowledge or permission. So here I am ... three days after I placed a simple order, starting all over again for more than half of my original order! The corporate complaint person could not get anyone at the club to answer their phones to find out why it was cancelled. So, IF YOU ARE SMART, DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM SAM'S CLUB!!!! If you are smarter than that, DO NOT BOTHER TO SHOP AT SAM'S ... they no longer care at all about their "members". They USED to be a great company ... now, IMO, they have slipped to WAY BELOW average.

They need more people working on the pickups. No reason for one guy to be doing all the work. Makes the wait time 25 minutes.. super unprofessional and Sam's should be ashamed of this! Look at target and how fast and effective they are.

I was having issues with my glasses fitting , loose and tight Detel , in another Optometrist in the Optical department was able to assist me with not 1 , but 3 pair to get to fit appropriately The both of them were very Nice , Especially Detel she has great people / Customer service skillsI highly recommend Sam's (Detel) for your optical needs!

Awful experience with pick up order placed a day ahead. Never bothered to call or email about the order not being ready after I waited 45 minutes. It was closing time so they just close without telling customers their orders won’t be ready as scheduled.

Don't shop at this store. Employees are rude and not friendly.I ordered a cake for my kid's birthday. I handed the order to themale employee working in the bakery. I come a few days later to get my cakeand they don't have it. They can't find the order. They are not apologetic. The girl that decorates the cakes with the bull nose ring and winter hat could care less. She cared more about the fact that she didn't take the order so it's not her fault than she cared about my kid not having a cake on their birthday. Horrible!

Recently I dropped in to grab a few things and found everything I needed. I had scanned the wrong coffee maker and then my phone died which I had already scanned and paid for my order. Andre one of the supervisors helped me reprint my receipt and get the correct coffee maker and generally saved the day. Y'all should check this store out.

I have both Costco and Sam's memberships, and it's great if you have specific brands that you like from each store. I usually don't shop at Sam's much unless I'm buying snacks for my grandma. She loves their regular M&M's and mixed chocolate bags. Costco used to sell them and then it's never in-store anymore. It's nice to walk around and browse at different items that they have, but Costco does have better items and prices. Costco have more Asian products (like mooncakes) and snacks, which are more convenient for my family. I do like Sam's $1.50 hot dog combo, and their $1 pretzel! It just brings me back to my childhood school field trips.

I purchased a gazebo and patio furniture and paid for delivery. They said the deliver company was booked and it would take awhile. (No big deal. I’m patient, even though I’d love to have the items I just paid a lot of money for as fast as possible.) anyways about 2 weeks later we get a call letting us know they are going to be canceling our order because we haven’t picked it up. I explain that we paid for them to deliver it and the response was “oh well club manager John doesn’t want it back here anymore.” I’ve never had such a reputable business have such bad customer service. The delivery guys sucked too and charged me extra to finish the job. But yeah, I don’t recommend this Sams. Jack Harlow wouldn’t spend his money at this club and neither will I. I recommend Costco, nice people, good food court. This Sams is trash. Not a cool club.

Purchased a gazebo and 4-piece patio set on 2/10. I contacted the delivery company that is advertised all over their large products and paid extra for delivery and installation. I was advised by the delivery company that I needed to fill out a form at Member Services to ensure my purchases wouldn’t be cancelled in the 24-hour hold time that Sam’s has. That was problem #1. No one at Member Services or the manager on duty that night seemed to know what this form was. I had to call Sam’s multiple times and the delivery company to try and figure something out so my purchases wouldn’t be cancelled.
Manager Suman was able to find the form and called me asking me to come back into the club to fill it out. I don’t live close so this was somewhat of an inconvenience for me but no big deal. Filled the form out on 2/15. On that same day, I got a confirmation text from the delivery company that my delivery and install date was scheduled for 3/8.
Fast forward to Saturday 3/5, I got a call from Michael saying my items have been in their warehouse for too long and he was going to cancel my purchases. I told him that he absolutely could not and should not do that because I paid extra for delivery and they were coming on Tuesday. I told him they had a form at Member Services to confirm this. He put me on hold to find this form but got back on the line telling me, “I can’t find it. I’ll talk to my boss and see what we need to do.”
I ended up going up to the store that day and asked for Mike at Member Services. I took my copy of the forms I filled out to show him. He called over Suman (who was the only manager who seemed to have any sort of common sense at this store and was the only one who was helpful throughout this whole ordeal) and she found the form in 2 seconds. Suman asked me if everything was okay with delivery and I told her, “Yes but I got a call earlier saying my stuff was going to be cancelled.” She asked me who called me and told me that and I pointed at Mike and said, “He did.” Mike then had a side conversation with Suman saying, “Well club manager John just doesn’t want the stuff back there anymore.” Mike told me that club manager John said the delivery and install services were for online purchases only but I know for a fact this is false. Why would it be advertised all over large items IN STORE? The delivery company confirmed that was false too. I tried to speak to club manager John that night but was told he was already gone. I called every day after that to speak to John and was told, “he’s not here today.”
I don’t care how much room my purchases were taking up in the warehouse. I paid a LOT of money for them (and I’ve spent a lot of money in general at this specific store) and I was being threatened for something I had no control over. I could not control how long the delivery company takes to pick my items up. If I could’ve picked my stuff up sooner, I would have. Basically, club manager John obviously either needs some training on the delivery/install process, some customer service training, or he just doesn’t need to be a club manager period. I won’t ever shop at this specific club again. I’ve had other problems with them that I’ve overlooked but this was my final straw. Planning on calling corporate too.

What’s the point of the phone number to call customer service if no one answers??? I placed a mobile order which was given away to another car. Customer service won’t help, the branch won’t answer ? So sams steals my money….

06/21/21- 5pm This is at least my 2nd time or 3rd time here. Parking lot is pretty big. Lots of selection inside. Clean amd organized :-) Thank you!!! I tried to Free Sample drink "Aspire". It tasted awesome! Thanks Sam's Club! Jjay R1616
