Poised for Success is the place to take your children! First off, the owners are amazing people! Second, they have top of the line staff. They truly care about developing learners who will become excellent leaders in the future. We need more places like this that truly care about making the world a better place, one child at a time. My time at poised for success was not very long, but during that time I learned so much and made so many fun memories. There was never a dull moment there, all of the lessons that I got to do with the children were very fun and interactive! You could tell how much the staff cares for the children and how involved they are in making sure these children are ready for not only school but also for life. They also are very understanding about how life can sometimes get in the way and give you time to do things outside of work! The communication at poised for success is unmatched, it’s the only place I’ve worked at where I felt listened to. Would definitely recommend working here if you have a passion for teaching and enjoy working with children!

Our daughter went to poised for success 3 years and we bathing but a great experience the entire time! She started at 18months. We really liked their flexibility and learning driven daycare style and believe they utilize a lot of Montessori methods. we definitely plan on taking our newborn son there when he’s a little older.

I love this daycare! We have been with them for over 4 years now. My oldest daughter is now in second grade but still come back for their summer program. My 4 year old is in the Pre-K class. They absolutely love it there. The owners and staff are amazing. They keep you well informed of what your children are up to. Pictures and weekly letters in the app. Coming from a mom who has only ever trusted my kids with family. 100% recommend.

After having taken my son to several esteemed academy’s only to be disappointed at the lackluster curriculum and unprofessional staff, I was elated to finally find an academy that educated my child while also allowing for social emotional growth. Fast forward and my son who started at Poised for Success at the age of 18 months is now 7 years old and thriving in public school. Our youngest children are currently enrolled in Poised for Success and I’m forever grateful for the loving, safe, consistent, and professional manner in which my children are cared for and educated. Every parent wants the best for their child, yet it takes a very special person to see the potential in a child and nurture them to flourish. The owners and staff at Poised For Success will always be angels in my book, and hero’s in my childrens lives!

I found Poised for Success during the pandemic and we had just moved in the Garland area. Ms Shaunise took the time to explain to me how the day care works and what the kids will be doing. I appreciate the professionalism of the staff as well as the family feel to it. The teachers are kind and firm. My kiddos ( now 2 and 5) love going there. We use the drop off pick up service for my kinder. I like that the kids have opportunities to shine with the entrepreneurial week, they also have a show twice a year, a trunk or treat… on Fridays they set up the bounce house. They do tons of art , there are plenty of toys and station to play pretend ( cooking, market, hair dresser), they have an outdoor area where the kids have plenty of toys too. We receive pictures and updates through an app and I love seeing my 2 yo painting or playing with her friends. The owners Mrs GG and Shaunise listened to their parents and are conserved with the well-being of the children. I feel comfortable leaving my babies to poised because I know they are in good hands. We receive a newsletter every week with the program, parenting tips, information in general. Call them today you won’t be disappointed.

Im a very over protective mom but Poised treats my daughter like family.. they want children to succeed. They care so much about the kids it’s so much love within the school. I was having a tough time potty training and within a week my daughter is going on her own they told me Payton can’t wear pull ups and I was happy to hear that because it’s a team effort. I love it here so much thank you !

“At Gigis!” This is what my daughter said when we got to the parking lot of their daycare.I love this daycare! It is a black owned business, by a mother (Ms. Jessica aka “Gigi”) and daughter (Ms. Shaunise).Ms. Shaunise has 2 sons, her oldest is my son’s best friend, but anyway, both of her kids call Ms. Jessica, “Gigi”, because well, she’s their Gigi lol So the other kids, mainly the littles, like my daughter’s class, all call her Gigi and think that the daycare is her house ? So when we pulled up and parked, my daughter is just sitting in her car seat saying, “At Gigi’s, at Gigi’s! Ready!”Once she gets in the door, she says, “Muah! Bye!” And basically slams the door in my face. ?Lol safe to say, the kids love this daycare and so do I!

My experience with this establishment has been very professional. The owners have compassion for their employees and all the children that they care for. This establishment is not about money. They have genuine care and love what they do to help each child excel individually and have a great start at being in the top tier of their class when they start school.

My daughter started this school at 11 mos and she’s now 2 going on 22 lol. But in all seriousness, she has learned alot and still is learning. She has taught me sign language. She communicates very well to be 2. She can say her ABCs and count 1-10. This is just some of the things I’ve noticed that this school (teachers) are doing to prepare her for school. In short, I’m just thankful for this school and staff!!! Nothing but a blessing to me!

i never wanted my children to attend daycare since i was always iffy about it (social media can give you unnecessary anxiety. BUT both of my daughters (now 3 and 5) have been attending since the ages of 1 & 2. they LOOOVE it. i love the curriculum and my children are always engaged in whatever activity that is being taught. PFS IS THE BEST DAYCARE EVER!
