I have tried chile relleno in various restaurants for 30 years and Desperados wins every time! No exceptions! The perfect blend of brisket with a few raisins and almonds. A must try. Don't let the raisins scare you. Desperados adds just enough raisins to bring out the flavors and soak up the wonderful juices from the brisket. A MUST TRY. You owe it to yourself.

Incredibly rude and very poor customer service. Went in to pay for gas because ALL of their pumps won’t take cards. I then realized that I didn’t have a mask so I put my shirt over my nose. I usually always wear my mask but just didn’t have it at that moment. The guy at the front starts telling me that if I don’t wear a mask I will be fined $500 by the city. I apologized and explained that I didn’t have my mask and would have brought one if I had known the pumps card system was totally down prior to that. Instead of listening, the guy up front just incessantly rambles, repeats himself and talks over me every time I try to make it a decent and pleasurable exchange. No wonder this place gets ZERO business. Don’t bark at your customers and listen to them. Also, interior of the place looks nasty and is in desperate need of overhaul. Food and candy looks incredibly old. Surprised this place is still in business. This will be my first time and last time. What a shame.
