Horrible! It took 30mn just to get help from someone to ship something. A bunch of “associates” standing around, one person helping over 20 people waiting. She had no clue how to ship something… never going back!

This store is sad and pitiful, only one employee in the entire store. Poor quality printing, took 30 minutes to pick up my order that was supposed to be finished when I arrived. No one works here, looks like it's headed for bankruptcy.

Excellent customer service. The young lady behind the counter was excellent as she multitask with different people to help each person diligently and she was also happy with a positive attitude that made my day because I have a positive attitude as well.

I had been to this Office Depot 10 days ago and posted my experience. I thought my post may have been a bit too harsh. After some time passed, I thought maybe It was again, just a one off thing, or I wasn't aware of the issues that possibly plagued the store that particular day. In short, I gave them another try at having 5 color copies made for me. I decided to come in-store early; maybe my previous visits were just bad timing on my part.At 8:21am, I signed in on the computer to get in the que for assistance. I recieved two texts to 'update' me. 5, 10, almost 15 minutes pass as the lone employee helps the two people in front of me. I figured being so early, having two people to assist would be a fairly short wait; not so much. The person in charge of the store directed anyone who needed a register to check out to the same desk I was waiting in line for. After 15 minutes of waiting, and six more people in line now in front of me, I began to realize the overwhelmed lone assistant would be a while before he could give me any assistance, and I would likely never have his undivided attention for more than a moment or two.I left the store with my project in hand, just like I had arrived. The only difference was I was just as frustrated as in times past.As I had done in times before, I drove to the Fedex store in Mesquite just a few minutes down the road. As I'm having my copies made, I receive a text telling me I'm now 1st in line at the Office Depot in Garland. Ha! you MUST be kidding!I will never go to Office Depot on Centerville in Garland for anything service related. They do not have it in store.Update: 31 Oct 2023I keep asking myself why I continue to return to the Garland Office Depot on Centerville. I suppose I want to believe my last experience was a fluke or that I’m an eternal optimist believing the past will inevitably be improved upon. Those hopes have been dashed for good.Armed with the knowledge that I can order whatever I need online, I want to believe that patronizing a brick & mortar business in my community allows the business to continue to serve the public and my neighborhood, an all-around good opportunity. However, I’m left to understand this store no longer has the desire to compete to serve and is now a distant memory of what once was.I ventured here to find printer ink, a staple to any business. I see a variety of different brands and sizes. I find two large, empty plastic boxes on the shelf of just what I need; each with a small note instructing me to take the box to the counter to make the purchase, which I do. A staff person quickly arrives to the counter and asks,“So you need some ink? Let’s see what you have, we probably don’t have it”.Confused, I hand him the box, he pulls up something on his phone and confirms,“Yeah, we don’t have that in stock”.So I ask him the obvious question, ‘Why do you have the box on the shelf that says I can purchase this here if you don’t have it in stock?’“It’s just a display, we don’t have it.”Trying to understand, I reply, ‘There’s two boxes just like this on the shelf; TWO displays on the shelf of something you DON’T have?!’“Yeah, sorry we don’t have it.”Vowing never to return I jet over to Sams Club where I KNOW it’s in stock. All the while telling myself for the last time, I should’ve known better that to waste time getting twisted and upset. My office needs now require a new way of thinking to get what I need; go where I know I can get it and monitor my supplies to re-stock with a few clicks having it dropped at my door from a reliable source I trust, completely stress free. Why should I want to continue to travel a path that’s no longer passable? The name of a business that no longer has the desire to serve is actually detrimental to the brand they once were. It’s been a hard lesson to learn, but customers will move on. G’by Garland Office Depot.

The service experienced today at the printing counter was inconsiderate and inept. Does not serve people that have been waiting in line for 15-20 minutes if they didn’t read the obscure sign to sign in at the front computer. So you go to the back of the line while the associate seemingly takes as long as possible, having to be retold the orders a couple times, printing entire poster orders incorrectly.. I don’t know how the lack of urgency and consideration of customers isn’t deliberate. When printing is so easy online through so many other avenues, you would think Office Depot would be diligent in training employees to attempt to retain customers. It also is sad that one experience from one employee can ruin a person’s perspective of a business. If you need to go to this location, order ahead or plan to be there 45 minutes for a simple printing order… even if there’s only one person ahead of you in line.

Ok. Where can I start. The employees are nice and patient!!Other than that the building is not put together the copy machines are broke and old. I literally sat in there for an hour and 36 minutes trying to print out 36 pieces of paper. Shame on you, Office Depot for having those copy machines in there and not working. You guys had a line wrapped around the building for one copy machine. GET THOSE MACHINES WORKING ASAP

I print with Office Depot all the time. Generally good experience staff members are super nice and helpful. Came to the garland store and Kenneth was extremely rude. I tried to say okay thank you to end the conversation and he continued to be rude. I placed a print job online and usually they would be ready within hours. I didn’t sign up for text and he kept asking me if I got a text and I told him no I didn’t sign up for text. He told me I should be last.Even though the nice associate Samantha has said she was working on it and I told her okay thank you. As I waited. He continues to be rude. He wasn’t even behind the counter so I don’t understand why he was even continuing talking to me. Try to tell me it would be ready tomorrow.I’m a teacher who extends grace and patience and prints from Office Depot continually. But I have never in my years had some one like Kenneth be so rude in tone and body language before.I had to cut him off and say “okay I understand”” firmly for him to finally back off. Samantha already was printing my things so I just did not understand what his point of specifically coming to me and trying to put me down were.Needless to say I will stick to other office depots and avoid this one just to never have to interact with him.
