I have always received excellent service at this Merle Norman location but Wednesday, after work I raced to get there before they closed but when I got there at 5:50,they were already closed. The sign says they close at 6.

Its been strange times; I know this Merle Norman location in Firewheel Garland would normally be busy place but now the best way to do things is to order by phone and have them bring the bag out to your car. Their sale is this Saturday 1/30 but you can pre order just call them and tell them what you need!

I recently went into the Merle Norman at Firewheel to purchase some products I was out of. At the time, Merle Norman was giving away a gift with purchase, a mirror that lit up. The customer in front of me asked for one & the associate told her that she needed to purchase two products. She said she only needed one item & continued with her purchase. I informed the customer I was purchasing two products & she could have my mirror as I would not use it. The associate interjected & proceeded to tell me I couldn’t do that. I informed her it was my mirror & I could do what I wanted to do with it. She called me “special” & continued to argue with me. I just had the customer step outside & gave it to her outside the store because the associate was so crazy. I spoke to the customer & we both agreed we wouldn’t be back – so you lost two customers! I’m glad there are other Merle Norman locations around DFW because I won’t go back to Firewheel.

My Mom has always loved and gone here for years! I went in today to get a Mother's Day gift, I saw the "OPEN" sign! And proceeded to walk in. The moment I go in there are two women, one of them right off the bat goes oh we're closed! And I just said oh okay my bad I'm sorry. Holding my debit card in my hand mind you period. The second woman was like oh well what were you looking for hun? I told her I was looking for the honey mocha lipstick. Well the first woman decides to come back and say oh what we're close you can come back tomorrow will be open... I was upset because they should have found what I was looking for if they weren't going to try and accommodate me. I've worked in the retail industry for multiple companies and if the door is not locked you're supposed to accommodate any customers that walking even if it is closing. So I went back to the car and my dad told me to call my mom tell her we couldn't get it. Went home was very upset with how passive-aggressive that woman was with me, and upset that if they're closed they should have locked the door instead of giving false hope that someone can go shopping in the store! But I decided to look up and see the hours for this location to see when they closed and when they open, and you won't believe what I saw. I saw that they close at 6:30 on Saturdays! And I looked at my phone for when I called my mom that that moment right after I left the store and got inside the car and it was at 6:24! So I found out that they lied! And just didn't want to accommodate me!!! Like I said I worked in the retail industry my whole life, so I understand wanting to go home early, but lying, leaving the open sign out, and just not trying to accommodate me in any way, very disappointed and no longer will be doing business at this location nor will my mother.
