Awful customer service from Lowe's Garland store! Because of the Supervisor (Preston)-(He, himself not aware of the return policy), I have lost pretty good amount of money and a bad attitude from their side as if I got it all for free. And their corporate are more hopeless, they don't even know how to find a solution for their blunder! Guys, Please save yourselves from Lowes. This is the reason why, they are losing their business! You got Home Depot! This would be our last purchase from this store and even from our whole extended family/community!

This Lowe's is the worse lowes store. The managers and customer services have absolutely no education in customer service and can barely understand whatever language that they are speaking. Today I tried to returned a item that was new with the original store scan tag. After the return desk people said that they couldn't issue a store credit due to no receipt, I told them That it was a gift and there was no receipt. I then ask why they are not issuing a credit so I can get something equal to the amt of my return. After waiting over a hour getting the run around. The manager from Nigeria that couldn't speak English well, and wasn't trained in customer service finally came to the returned desk. Ms Lwawwaniiaa or something like that said, they just changed their return policy last week, I asked them being a regular customer why wasn't some notice sent out about this change. I then said, that I would never shop at that particular store again due to their rudeness, no customer service. Now I know why this Firewheel store is rated with a 1 star!!! Their are better Lowes stores that have descent people that are employed at their stores. I ended up going to the Lowe's that is in a better part of Dallas and they were very nice and accommodating and issued a store credit, where I ended up buying a $1700. 00 gazebo, so glad to spend my money in a well run and better store.

Today is August 4 and I gave Lowe's a try again and I asked customer service to send someone to flooring because I would need help getting a rug to the cash register. Nobody came. I'm ready to buy a rug. I've actually called flooring through my cell phone and nobody is at the flooring desk yet there are staff walking around it is 9 o'clock at night they're not very busy, this is so frustrating. Heading to Home Depot I guess.

If you can buy it somewhere else, always buy it somewhere else. We purchased carpet from Lowe's. They happily accepted our payment and then handed us over to an incompetent contractor who didn't order enough carpet, leaving us with exposed tack strips at the top of our stairs for weeks...and over the Thanksgiving holiday. Lowe's (again, who took our money) did little to help resolve our incomplete job...I guess liability was never a concern?!? It took numerous phone calls to the contractor and Lowe's to finally get a few more feet of carpet for the job to be completed. We should've have purchased from a local company that would have appreciated our business and understood the concept of professionalism and customer service.

We bought a new gas grill on 5/24/23 and requested assembly. was told assembly crew was gone for the day. It was early afternoon. It would be the following week before it was ready. Due date 6/01/23. We called the store 4 times without getting any type of answer. On the 5th call, we got someone who told us they couldn't find the order and would look for it. He finally told us that the cashier had forgotten to put it in the system but it was sitting in the assembly area. It would be next week before it would be ready. RIDICULOUS!!!'. I told them to forget it and I would pick it up and put it together myself. Piss poor management and training! Nobody even bothered to apologize or try to make it right. They have some really good employees just poor management and training. They have done away with all cashiers and gone to self-check. Very poor way to run a business.

I came by my neighborhood Lowe's to return three plants that died on me. I was helped by Kyle at the customer service desk and he tried to help me out but since I misplaced my receipt it was hard to find the items. He then asked for Nathan's help. Nathan really took the time as well to help me out and we were able to find the exact date of my purchase and was able to do the exchange for me. Nathan and Kyle are wonderful employees. They really took the time to help me out, sincerely wanted to help me out even without my receipt. I highly recommend this Lowe's.

My fiancé and I recently relocated to the area and of course, needed a local hardware store. Our first experience was awful. We went in to purchase a new refrigerator and the first one was delivered after multiple delays..with a dent. After going round and round over the phone, we went back to the store to get the issue resolved. A new (dent-free) fridge was delivered 2 days later. Since then, my fiancé has been reluctant to return, but we've still had hardware needs. Today was the final straw. We waited for 15 minutes for assistance ordering blinds and finally left the store without placing an order. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because I've always been loyal to Lowe's, but I don't think we'll be returning to this location.

when I return the items, I have all the receipts, but the manager named Jose won't let me return it. He told me to return to the store where I bought it and return it. what do you think?

Avoid this store at all costs. The worst customer service time and time again I have ever received in my entire life. Usually, you cannot get any help at all, the phone ring endlessly or you're put on enteral hold. We purchased custom shades for every room of our room and I was so excited for this to end up being the biggest nightmare. Months and months later, two incorrect deliveries, one delay and excuse after another, we finally disputed the charges on our credit card and explained we didn't feel we would ever receive what we purchased correctly and timely. We were told to get rid of the extra shades they sent us, which didn't fit anywhere, and now they are claiming we have to pack them all up and drive them to the store. I will NEVER buy anything from Lowes for as long as I live nor will anyone in my family. We have been let down over and over again in every way possible and they continue to cause the most stress I have ever had. It is back-and-forth phone calls between the shade company that Lowe's contracts with and Lowe's and everybody blames each other, yet no one will resolve anything.
