I had been a Kroger shopper for many years on Walnut but recently noticed so many changes. The new manager is awfulI asked her a question her response was very unprofessional all the cashiers are new and not very helpful the store is not clean as it was before and there are never bags at the self checkout. Not sure what has happened here but it is now the mode ghetto location ever. I will never shop here again.

Ask the sales person for fresh cilantro just like the commercial say that everything is fresh and he told me he doing something else terrible customer service then he wanted to speak Spanish with another customer about me and she told him she didn't speak Spanish. I still can't believe Kroger is a major food retailer. The one in my neighborhood looks awful.

The gas prices here tend to be lower and with a rewards card, 3 cents cheaper, or more if you grocery shop here. I go to a different location to shop, as this Kroger has a maze of aisles that are perpetually hard to navigate. Love the convenience of the gas station though!

Worst customer service ever in my life. Rude ahh employees. I called to see if they have similac for my baby and instead of actually saying they don't have any they just hung up. So rude. All you had to say was no and I would've said thank you bye but no they wanna give attitude and hang up rudely. Never been here and never going here.

The store has a lot of nepotism. The manager Esmeralda isn't a good manager at all. Not close to being qualified not even remotely close. When the bigger managers over them come to visit 559 the store managers like the grocery manager Matt will hide in the dairy cooler like a coward with no accountability running from other managers. Any grown man I know would never run from other men. If you like peace of mind and a positive environment. Stay away from 559. Until theres a change...nothing good comes from store 559. I hope corporate sees this.

Decent location for gas, easy in and out, but they do need to keep up with fuel prices of other gas stations. Go during the day, they run out of gasoline by evening.

We shop this Kroger on w walnut St. Garland TX . Nearly everyday and and have for 10 yrs. We have found in the past few months that the meat dept. Has went down greatly. We've bought bad meat and carne picado that had hair in 2 packages. Chicken that was ruined . roast that were ruined. This is terrible. We spend hundreds of dollars a week an I need to find a cleaner store . or you need to clean it up.

This store as a former employee and customer, wishes those boss's they have up there are crooked lazy, and when you need to speak with one they are never around, for years I used to go there till I noticed the amount of crime and theft that goes on around there... the employees are always high, you can snell it and the way they work they look high.. now everything im trying to get a manager from the meat and seafood place I think his name is Jacob is always gone, I've never seen him work, he schedules older employees way longer there is a good gentleman who works there who's name I think is James and he should be running thst department he is there more than the boss is... the whole company is very corrupted and unprofessional which is why I left thst place, did not want to give them the time or my money.. corporate NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE THIE STORE!!! I just wish I could give them a negative TEN!!!

So seeing as that have lived across the street from this Kroger location for several years it's obviously my go-to grocery store. Plus they have everything I usually buy and the store is laid out, stocked, and cleaned really well. Now because of my working hours I'm almost always in there right before close and already know what I'm getting so I grab it and go. I've found many other employees over the last few years that still stand out as so kind or helpful that I remember them to this day. As long as I can remember this really nice guy Phillip was working the self checkout thing and remembered me and always said hello, made sure I found everything I needed, never made me feel rushed or like a bother when he had to get me cigarettes or approve my ID verification. Then one day my friend Phillip was gone.......and replaced by this nightmare of a girl that I finally found out is named MJ. What's in God's name is wrong with her? Why is she so pushy? Or why so obviously condescending in her tone trying to make everyone she talks to feel stupid for asking a question or annoying for needing assistance? And I fully understand that we are in a pandemic and the safety of customers and staff is very important but when you have to come over to clear my age verification and don't ask me but rather coldly demand "heyyy man....move at least 5 feet away from the screen so I can get up there!" All the while loudly sighing to communicate how annoyed she is that she'd even have to explain that to me or help me at all?!? I get it that people are going through a hard time right now and everyone has something difficult going and are stressing more than usual but she clearly has very limited customer service personality skills that are highly essential for serving customers. Apparently, it wasn't just me because as I walked out a woman behind me said "don't worry...I come in here all the time and she is so strange and acts that rude all the time." Which in a weird way made me feel better actually. Please get the Phillip guy back! I miss that kindness and helpful service at my Kroger.

The new lady at the self checkout is so terribly mean. She works the night shift. Definitely has anger issues. Not good to let out your anger on those who could be going through the same thing as you. I love the Kroger after all. Just the behavior at the self checkout is a bad feeling that's for sure. She even made me cry.
