My 83 year old mother lives in a local retirement complex. She wanted to move to the top floor, which was quieter. She moved into the exact same 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment, just located on a different floor. Many of the ladies told my mother that KB moved them to another apartment and they did a good job. The cost was approx. $400. I told her that it should be a fairly easy move, as we sold 75% of Mom's belongings when she moved into her apartment. She didn't have alot. There was no truck involved as the move was to another apartment in the same complex. Mom assured me that she didn't need me or any other family members there to supervise because the other ladies had assured her that they were "nice" movers. What I found out later, after the move was that the owner told Mom he would charge her the same as the other residents ($125 - $140 per hour) using 3 movers. He showed up with 2 movers but the price wasn't adjusted. So they showed up at 6:30am and didn't complete her move until 5:00! Since Mom had not packed either her kitchen or the two bathrooms, they didn't even have to move any of this! WHY would it take 10.5 hours to move a two bedroom apartment with minimal furniture and only a limited amount of boxes??? When I asked her, she said that "they didn't have the right tools." I can't imagine that they would need any out of the ordinary tools to disassemble her bedframe, but lets just say they did. How long does it take to get the right tool and if they showed up unprepared, she should NOT have to pay them for the time they stood around scratching their heads. She did not call me, which I was not pleased about, until the move was "complete" at 5:00pm. At some point in the afternoon, one of their friends, who had stopped by to check on the movers, told my Mom that she needed to go get them some lunch. So my 83 year old mother got in her car and went and purchased them lunch, thinking that this was something that she was suppose to do. When she got back, they met her in the dining room and enjoyed their lunch and at the end, they charged her for the hour that they were downstairs eating. Not only is their lunch NOT her responsibility, but I don't know anyone that gets paid to have their lunch no matter where they work or what type of job they have. That is wrong and this man knows that it is!!! So I realize that at this point there is nothing that I can do to make this right because she didn't alert me while it was happening and she has already paid. But let me emphasize, there is a lack of honesty among the folks that run and work at KB Moving Services & Delivery. 10.5 hours is absolutely unacceptable to move that apartment, but this happened because they clearly took advantage of an elderly woman who didn't know better. I am going to make sure that the apartment complex is aware of their business practices (although, apparently this has happened with other residents) and will tell anyone else that needs a mover.

I'd like to start this review in saying - time is money. Moving companies are well aware of this as they charge by the hour for their services. They were responsible for moving my house, excluding the items in the garage. They left multiple items (large mirror, several lamps, sided tables, and boxes) and I discovered this the next day when I made my final visit to check on the house before moving onto my next chapter.I drive a small sedan and had to make multiple trips from one side of DFW to the next to move the items this company should have loaded the first time. I spent my only day off for moving doing their job, rather than unpacking and settling into my new home.I contacted the owner, Ken and explained my frustration. He apologized and told me "he owed me a favor". I contacted him the next day and told him I would prefer he send me $100 of the $1,100 I paid him due to the time, gas and money I spent completing their job. I gave him my Zelle info and left it at that. He asked me to call him, but as I explained - there is nothing we need to continue talking about. I don't need another apology or another "I.O.U." situation. This was my second time using Ken's services, I am a loyal customer and it's disappointing this is how I'm treated.

DO NOT PURCHASE their Groupon. They refuse to honor their own advertisement and Groupon sales. They tried to tell me they only had full priced moves for my date. This is fraud. They only want your business if you pay full price and refuse to honor their Groupon listed deals.

I moved out of a small one bedroom into a storage unit. The move went fine and was done within the expected time. However one of the movers went through my car while I was in the storage unit and stole my money. I called the owner who let the employee go, however he did nothing to address the money that was lost or try and make it right. I had to spend hours after the move getting footage of the employee going through my car, taking time out of an already stressful day of moving. I have also learned that they have a history of hiring people who steal from their customers. I would not recommend this business.

I used this company last Saturday and was hesitant to write a review but felt people should know because I would want to know myself. One of the mover's stole my dad's wallet to where we had to get the cops involved. We were able to get the wallet back but it should have never happened in the first place. Took up hours of my moving time and we completely canceled our move at that point.

We had a great experience with Hawkboyz! Our movers were very efficient. They were careful with our stuff and made sure the furniture was packed securely. Their quote was also significantly lower than some of the other companies - would definitely recommend!!

It was 107 degrees out today - possibly the worst day to move in history. The guys walked up and down 3 flights of stairs numerous times in this miserable weather - no complaints and banged out our move. All our stuff was moved with damage, they wrapped anything fragile and got us all loaded super fast. When we got to the unload site, they were careful to not track in the mud from the construction site and put everything where we needed it. A++++ would give more stars if I could. If you need a move, I highly recommend Hawkboyz.

Just helped my son and his wife move this past weekend. They hired KB Moving & Delivery to move the big stuff. Can’t say enough good things about these guys. They arrived on time, were very professional, well dressed and polite. They worked hard from the time they arrived until the job was completed. Highly recommend them if you are planning a move. Well done KB Moving & Delivery.

Called the company number a few times and did not get an answer so I decided to send an email so someone could contact me back at their convenience. I did not give any details about my move...no date, no address, no info about what was being moved. Just a simple email requesting a call back. Within 30 minutes I received a very unprofessional reply about them not having any availability. I thought people were in the business of obtaining business not pushing them away. Guess I was wrong.

Kyle and team are professional and friendly and would highly recommend their service. Kyle demonstrated timely communication, was creative and willing to find solutions that worked, and left a wonderful impression with us during and after our interprovincial move. So much so that we have contacted KB to help twice more with smaller in town moves where we experienced the same level of excellent customer service and care for our belongings.

Kyle and his team took the stress out of shifting some items around between multiple locations. They are professional, efficient, and pleasant to work with. He was quick to reply to my initial message and found the solutions I needed. Excellent value for your money. Support local!
