We purchased 4 new tires with warranty late 2022 had a flat due to screw tires are like new. Was repairable no cost. If you pay the new warranty fee which is worth in.

I don’t know the name of the guy that helped me but he was to nice😭 he was a tall white guy with maybe kinda a buzz cut😬 but I was standing there a bit lost and no one walked up to me but him and listened to me and got me exactly what I needed! It was great props to him!

Well I have used this Discount Tires for all 6 of our vehicles and have never had an issue until Monday (3/10) was trying to make an online appt for my tire issue but I didn't see the right reason to make it under so I called the 888 number as the website stated to do.
I called and spoke with a Theresa and I told her what was going on, she said she would make my appt for me and said they set appointments every 15 minute intervals so I chose 3:30 and she said - ok I got you down and listed it as a tire inspection. Then I told her about the warranty since I bought the vehicle 2 years ago - I asked her to move the warranty to my name and she stated she did so everything was taken care of.
I arrive at 3:20 for my 3:30 appt and I was told by an employee (Shelby) that he did not see an appointment for me and said he would try and get me worked in - I explained the whole call to Theresa and everything so I was a little upset to know that someone dropped the ball. So I ended up with a tire replacement under the warranty and I was told I would need another tire soon in the front so I decided to go ahead and get one and then keep it for a spare (there was a lot of tread still on it) and Shelby said he would have done the same.
In the mean time I called into Corporate to make the complaint about Theresa not doing her job, spoke with a Jacob and he said he would notate the account - I told him - it says all phone conversations are recorded so pull the recording and listen and make sure she follows through next time
So after waiting an hour (not bad) I hear another employee calling out the name James 3 times, I look out the window and see that its my vehicle that is ready so I check the paperwork and Theresa did not transfer the warranty to my name but added my account to the previous owner of my vehicle - ughhh so then I go to the desk and tell an employee and he said he cannot fix it but that I have to call into the corporate office and have then fix it but that if that guy James (whom I have never met) calls in and tells them to remove my name from his account - all of my info and warranties on ALL of my cars will be gone.
So as I am leaving I call the Corporate Office and speak to a Jose and I explained all my issues with him because Jacob was on another call. He said he was going to call the store manager and have him call me and that it was not written correctly and needed to be refunded and charged again the correct way.
So then a few minutes later I check my vehicle for my tire that I told them I wanted to keep - yep - NOT there. So I called my daughter and had her go pick it up for me.
Then I got a call from the store manager David - good thing Jose got to him first because the old owner called (because he received an email & text) about service done on the vehicle (so David knew not to remove me from the account) so I told David I would be in the next day to re-do the paperwork
So on Tuesday 3/11 - I went back to the tire shop and spoke with David (the Manager) he was so polite and friendly and he made the transaction go so smooth - he refunded me my $349 for my 2 tires (1 was replaced under the previous warranty and 1 new one with a warranty) and he put everything under my name and he even threw in the new tire, and all he charged me was $140 for the 2 new warranties.
Monday I was ready to give this place a 1 star and put a rant on my facebook page lol - but when the Manager calls you and then goes above and beyond for a customer that tells me a lot about a person and their character
SO THANK YOU SO MUCH DAVID FOR TAKING CARE OF ME AND MY SITUATION, IT'S VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

Overall, have a good experience when i come in. My biggest issue is that they say to make an appointment to get something done to wait less time. However, anytime i have an appointment and show up on time there is not a bay ready for my car and i end up having to sit there for an hour+ for then to complete walk-ins then get to my car. If i made a pre-existing appointment, when i arrive, a bay should be available. If it's not then i think other compinsation should be given to the customer being effected.

Horrible service! Soon as I waked in the manager walked to the back for like5 mins. I went outside and asked one of the techs do I get assistance at the front or do I ask them outside. He told me that I would get assistance at the front desk and to wait on the manager to come from the back. When the manager came from the back he was laughing and joking with another co worker. He asked had I been helped and I told him no but it would be nice to get some assistance if that’s okay. During the proceeding of the assistance I received I told him I needed my passenger rear tire patched due to a visit from a discount earlier that day. I didn’t have time when I went to the initial visit so I stopped at this location while I was in the area. They had 2 vechicles in their bay. 6 workers 3 actually working 1 probably on break bc he was eating fast food. Service took forever and then when I retrieved my vehicle they patched the wrong tire so now am outside waiting at the Garland I30 location where I am receiving wonderful service. They keep apologizing for the other location when they shouldn’t have to but every-time I go by that location it’s not busy and my experience today explains why. The 635 garland location and customer service + management was HORRIBLE. Thank you I30 & Garland location

Went here for a nail in my tire and they could have lied to me and told me I needed to replace the tire cause of the placement of the nail but didn't and came back to tell me everything was fine the nail never went into my tire.

There is top notch service, then there is this location of Discount Tire. We use this location regularly as we live next to a freeway that is constantly under construction. The entire staff is cordial, professional and polite. I know they have a duty to the business to sell as much as possible, but I have never been pressured to buy something I didn't want. They offer their products, as they should but they never press once I decline. They explain the situation, tell you the best course of action and leave it at that. They might not be the cheapest option, as there is a Walmart right across the street. But for the quality of service and the knowledge and professionalism, they simply can't be beaten.

Tire shops don't exactly have a reputation for providing good service, but I've consistently had outstanding customer service experiences at this location. One tip: call the store directly to make an appointment instead of scheduling online. 2nd tip: always make an appointment (if you can), they've been quite busy each time I've been there.
