I was a bit hesitant when I walked through the doors. However, when Ashley cut my hair, and pulled out the Gold trimmers I was like she's not playing around. Needless to say, I now have a new hair stylist, that can cut my hair the way I like and is very affordable!
Some barbers/cutters want to charge you $40 to cut your hair when it grows back in 2 weeks, not going to pay ANYONE over $30 to cut my hair. NOT DOING IT!
I walked away HAPPY, lets just say that ... I will be going back. - ZJ

Not entirely their fault. Website doesn't mention appts and the door said walk-ins welcome. I came in and sat down. After a few minutes, one stylist asked if she could help me and I explained I was hoping to walk in. She made that derisive sucking on teeth sound and said no, she didn't have time, looked at the other stylist who never looked up 'can you fit her in?' with a quick 'no'. The first lady explained they didn't have enough staff to cover walk-ins that day. Ok. That's fine and all, but maybe have a sign for the door stating as such.

I have been going to see Dim for over 20 yrs for my haircut. Can't imagine going anywhere else! Always friendly and professional! Even when I moved to Farmers Branch, I drive to Garland to get my hair cut. I highly recommend Color & Kuts!

Come home and notice my hair was not cut right it was longer in one side and the other side was short didn’t match. charge me way to much and I didn’t even style it. don’t recommend coming here. She was a Chinese lady I didn’t get her name but didn’t do what I ask for.very disappointed ☹️ I still wanted my long hair just wanted the ends cut and she cut so much ?. safe yourself and go were you can trust

Ashley is a very sweet young woman but in the wrong profession! I came to her for a trim for my very good bob style…that I was really loving on myself and she not only cut most of my off but she then razored the rest of my hair…off! Nightmare for a 63 year old working in the public and with little self confidence as it is…baseball cap for me!

As a first time walk in customer I came in and Ashley helped me! She was nice & very attentive to what I needed, she gave me beautiful highlights just like I wanted and trimmed off my split ends just like I asked! She took her time and made sure I was satisfied. I was referred to Karrie and have been more than pleased with every aspect of interaction. Karrie is talented and knowledgeable in cutting, coloring and damage repair for my hair. She answered my questions while in her chair, responded to my questions via text and educated me on what to do at home to keep my hair healthy. I have found a stylist that I plan to stick with for as long as possible and am confident in her ability to solve my hair issues and take care of my concerns. I highly recommend Karrie. You won’t be disappointed.

Tried to make an appointment over the phone. Wasn't even sure if I called the right place because of the way they picked up the phone. Asked several times if I was speaking to someone at Color and Kuts and just got a lot of "whats". I asked if they could hear me and she said yes so im not sure what the problem is. Was looking forward to trying out this salon but I couldn't even make it that far... :(

Worst experience I've had. Idk her name but the Asian lady did not understand what I wanted and tried to blame me when it didn't look right saying that's what I asked for. I wanted blonde highlights and blonde tips and to tone it with my brown hair. She bleached 70% of my hair so the highlights were completely white, did not tone at all, I asked her to cut off an inch of the dead hair, she cut off 3 inches. Cary was nice and was able to fix it mostly but still not what I wanted. The highlights don't even go all the way to my scalp and are choppy. I was there for over 4 hours and was overcharged
