Ordered two items for pick up because they were not available at my local stores. Drove nearly 3 hours one way to pick it up only to find one of the items cancelled (even though they had 3 perfectly fine ones on the shelf) and the other was an extremely damaged item that they wrapped and tapped up in paper. It’s the large raven on their website that is literally missing a whole leg.
Updated: got a call that they were sending me a new one to my home address!!!

At Home had a large and vast selection of holiday decor and all for relatively decent prices! Denise checked us out and was one of the kindest retail workers that we had ever met. God bless Denise today and every day.

I will never go back to this location. My mom bought several rugs less than 2 weeks ago. One of the rugs shed terribly and today with a receipt tried to return it. It was in pristine condition and the associate asked if she washed it (a big heavy rug). And then tries to tell my mom that it wasn't purchased there when it most certainly was and she has the receipt. My sweet elderly mom came home and was so embarrassed for the way this woman treated her. AND on top of that wouldn't exchange except for the cheaper rug on the receipt even when my mom is telling her that the cheaper rug is the one she is keeping.
Anyway, absolutely ridiculous.
So the woman shorts my mom the amount owed after treating her so rudely and my mom was so upset that she just left with less than the rug cost. Again, she had the receipt!
I will make sure that everyone I know hears this story about At Home in Garland.
Absolutely atrocious.

They have a nice collection but I do find it overpriced . The seasonal decor , especially the Halloween collection, is over the top and awesome . Definitely a nice place to browse and find some good things for the home .
