Wish I would've seen these yelp reviews before I took my 1year old puppy to have eye surgery . I took my dog to have eye surgery SPECIFICALLY told the old lady in the front desk that I did not want my puppy to be spayed told her this several times! she had an awful attitude from the start but I figured the rest of the staff was not like her I left my dog there to have eye surgery the next day I come back pick up my dog she had her eye surgery since I trusted that I had left my dog in good hands I thought everything went well I was happy! I get home to see my puppies belly is shaved!?They gave me no explanation they didn't tell me that they had accidentally shaved my dogs belly me being really worried and sad I went to the vet again because I thought my dog was spayed when I got there the lady saw me immediately rolled her eyes what?! I proceeded to ask for a receipt and to ask why my dogs belly was shaved and if they had spayed her? Because I was really worried! the male doctor or vet immediately came at me explaining to me what had happened oh but in an unnecessary aggressive way I had the receipt in my hand and he was trying to snatch the paper out of my hand which I do not think it's right! He called the police ! We willingly got out because he just kept arguing he did not listen to what I was saying at all Ok that's fine I waited for the police to arrive because i know that I was right! The police man heard me out unlike this man upfront .how are you going to have such a a big accident and shave my dogs belly to be spayed but then realized that you weren't supposed to ??why couldn't they check what they had to do before even staring to prepare my dog for surgery??? This so unprofessional . My dog still has to get her stitches out but now Now they have sent me a letter to tell me that they will no longer perform any veterinarian services on my pet what am I supposed to do this just cruel and unfair.

ABSOLUTELY CRUEL!!!! STAY AWAY!!! Put my 17 year old dog down here. They took him to run an IV and wouldn't let me come. I could hear him howling in pain and they refused to let me back to calm him. Refused to give me access to my own dog that was writhing in pain!! Dr comes in the room and curtly tells me to put the dog down because he is ready to begin. RUDE!! No bedside manner whatsoever. Tried to put him down and it didn't work, said the IV was bad so they took him away again. Came in with second IV in a second leg. Tried to inject and said it wasn't working. They took him away again. Dr blames his staff and says he counts on them but they are no good with older dogs and thin veins. He's clearly irritated because it's closing time at this point. I can hear him scolding his staff to hurry along on the other side of the door. A couple minutes later they show up and my dog is dead. Mysteriously the IV all the sudden worked, when they already told me it had been too long and it didn't work. I'm fairly positive they suffocated him because they were tired of trying and they made it clear it was closing time and they were ready to leave. As if this wasn't all bad enough, she walks into the room with my limp dog and smacks his head into the door HARD!!!! IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN!!!! The level of incompetence here is unforgivable!!!

I have been coming here for several years and had long waits but today was the worst. I brought my dog in for a monthly allergy shot and had to wait 2 hours just for a shot. When I called this morning, I was told they don't take appointments, so you have to walk in and wait...and wait and wait and wait some more. Another lady came in with her cat after me and was seen and left, way before I was ever called back. Office staff is rude and they don't care. This is BS and I'm finding a new Vet!

Great vet and great staff. I definitely recommend this clinic. We have three vet clinics here in Garland that we have used and love all three. Two thumbs up!!!

They are the best at understanding and loving you pets. I appreciate how they listen to you and treat your babies with care. I don't feel like I have to break the bank to take care of them. The doctor is very kind and helpful. We had to say goodbye to our sweet Gracie of 13 years and they were so kind and gentle. Thank you to the staff!!

Took my old rescue in for a quick checkup and ear infection. They were prompt, honest and my little old man is running around like he's 10 instead of 15 now.

I had given this place a one star rating but thinks it deserves three for the reasoning being it's very affordable. If you're not looking to spend a fortune on vaccines and you're needing to have your pet seen, this is a good place. I suggest you call ahead of time though and come ahead of time too!

This place is not even on my radar anymore and evidently not on a lot of other peoples either. I brought our 10 y/o boxer/lab mix for vomiting and diarrhea and from what the receptionist told me on the phone just the night before, I'd be able to do a walk-in. I get there not even an hour after the clinic opens and they tell me the doctor isn't taking anymore patients, they would only administer vaccinations. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? There was 4 MAYBE 5 other owners ahead of me and all of the sudden you're just deciding NOT to take anymore pets and it's not even noon yet??? Disappointing but not surprising in the least. My son left in tears thinking our dog wouldn't get any help at all from them and from the looks of the people who were in there already waiting, they didn't look pleased at all. Thankfully I was able to get an appointment set for that afternoon somewhere else (Animal Hospital of Garland off of Northwest Highway) who did everything they could think of to help my dog and then some. As of PetMoble, I'm not stepping foot in there again until their office staff learns to communicate better with customers and get their facts straight.

I hate this place!! I dont know why i continue to come here. The help in front is always rude, at best. The nurses and doctors are good which, i guess, is why i come here. Today i called as soon as soon as they opened because my 10 yr old dog, who just had a checkup here 5 days ago, seems very ill. They said they had an appointment in 1 hour so i jumped in and out of the shower, grabbed the dog and my keys and drove fast to make it. When i got there they acted like they didnt know what the hell i was talking about. They finally found the person i talked to and she said she "made a mistake and had left a voicemail" Well screw me!!!! I about came unglued but then that makes me the bad guy!!! Im in for a looooong day

NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE!! everyone here is truly nice & genuine. Me & my entire family has been going here since our first dog & that was 12 years ago!! Everyone who works there loves to speaks a little time with everyone's animals & ask many questions to make sure everything is right. I truly appreciate the staff & the prices.

I went to this vet office out of the good reviews on affordability. I went in with my dog sawyer who was very sick, she ended up having parvo. Naturally finding this out I become emotional. The staff had the least of compassion for someone who's dog may very well die, like my dog had instantly become a statistic when she tested parvo positive. I was told one price and when going to pay, was told I'd be paying more than what I was told. I was also told if my dog gets worse, I better figure out a way to come up with 1500 to pay for hospitalization. The older woman at the front desk was very cold and rude, I had to drag my sick dog across town to get money out of an ATM because I was told they could not accept my debit card and to "read the sign on the desk" that said CREDIT cards will need additional ID. The staff lacked helpfulness. I will not be bringing my dog back to this vet.

Most definitely will NOT be coming back to this place!!!!!! If your pup is in bad shape don't even bother it's better to go somewhere else. Called at 1 to see if I could come as a walk in because my 2yr ild husky keeps throwing up constantly and does not want to eat or get up. The receptionist told me they where at capacity but I could go in at 4:30 and it was first come, I drove 30 minuets got there at 4 when i tried to check in they told me they where no longer accepting pets to see the doctor but could take vaccinations. If they know it gets full and aren't gonna have space JUST SAY SO, I RELIED ON THE RECEPTIONIST BUT DONT TAJE THEIR WORD !!!!! IF ITS AN EMERGENCY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE INSTEAD THESE GUYS WONT BUDGE. I went to country brook animal hospital in garland and they happily took me in and they close earlier too.

They have the rudest staff, example the hollered at my wife stating she was overmedicating our dog, oops the doctor wrote the instructions down wrong, never apologized

I take my dogs to the shot clinic here. While the wait can be a while, that's what happens when you go to a shot clinic with low prices. The staff are always nice and I always meet interesting new people and animals while I wait. They seem to have a pretty good system of getting people in and out as quickly as possible, considering the usual crowd.
