Find the store manager to be very disrespectful of senior citizens. Staff helpful I will say yet the manager projects a uncaring domination stance when questioned about store policies without me the customer being granted a voice....just cut off of any given conversation regarding the social impact of the ID policy. You lost me as a customer for life. I will now transfer my prescription to a more community focused establishment as well as any future lateral purchases. Walgreens please do not reach out to respond as my position is set in stone.

This is actually the best Walgreens I've ever been to. The pharmacy staff were so kind and took the initiative to lower the cost of my Rx by using a coupon. It saved me more than $40! They also have a good selection of cosmetics.

The pharmacy has been pretty solid imo. Ive read a lot of reviews about it but a pharmacy isca pharmacy. They're limited by what they can get and your doctor. The rest of the store pretty much is terrible. Im especially offended by the lady yelling "Hi Friend" in the cosmetics department. Caught her following me around the department one day and it creeped me out.

This is the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. When my doctor called to get their fax number to send my prescription they didn't know it. I've been waiting here for two hours for a simple prescription fill. Go literally anywhere else!

This place is ridiculous, and this goes for all Walgreens, but especially this one. I have been on hold for over 30 min. Still no answer I have no idea what the problem is with the entire store. But when you call they don't pick up, and by the time they do your already upset and want to go off on them or speak to a manager. Do not recommend this place at all definitely ghetto

I have never been more offended in my life. I recently moved to Galveston from Houston. I went to this pharmacy to fill my ADD medication that I've been taking for almost 20 years now. My prescribing Doctor, who has been my doctor for the past 10 years, office is in Houston. When I went to go fill my prescription the pharmacist told me it will take us about a week for us to fill your prescription to verify that this is the medication that you actually take. And that I needed to start seeing a new doctor in Galveston because they don't understand why I have a doctor in Houston when I live in Galveston now and they don't know if I actually need this medication or if I'm selling it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Who do you think you are to tell me what doctor I should or should not see and how dare you accuse me of selling my medication. I've been using Walgreens pharmacy for the past 15 years, so there is a clear record of my medication, and just the audacity they had to try to tell me where I should seek medical treatment, and from who, and to accuse me of being a drug dealer is the most appalling offensive thing that has ever happened to me. Trust me, I wish I didn't need medication. I would love to be medication free, but that's not an option for me and how dare you make me feel ashamed and embarrassed for taking this medication and making me feel like I'm this drug addict trying to get her fix. Horrible, horrible horrible. This Walgreens is walking distance from house, I live in fish village but I gladly make the drive to the Walgreens on 61st St. Worth it. They're soooo much better!!!

This Walgreens really needs to get their act together. The staff in the pharmacy is rude especially the pharmacist herself. I keep going back thinking the bad experiences were a fluke and will get better but the never do. I'm done with Walgreens for good.

Waited in line from 7pm - 8:30 for prescriptions that were called in at 9:30am. When I got to the pharmacy drive through, I was told one was ready and they were still working on the second. They made me get out of line and drive back around knowing they closed at 9pm. They asked me to come back the next day!!!! My daughter needed both medications for her illness that night. I will NEVER visit this pharmacy again!!

This place never disappoints in bad service. Please send in some help. These people need some help. Or just close it. It serves no purpose but to just bring your spirit down. No one who exits this stores doors will be the same. Talk about Debbie Downers.

The worst pharmacy I have ever encountered in my entire life. Galveston does not have a 24 hour pharmacy which is one thing but to leave the emergency room around 2 am hoping for my meds to be filled as soon as they open it's now nearly 8pm the next day and my meds are still unfilled even though I have gotten multiple phone calls saying they were filled and ready for pick up. The drive thru here is terrible and they tell you to drive around again if someone is behind you even though they have not fulfilled your needs. The definition of INCOMPETENCE

currently in the store. floor is dirty, lines at checkout and pharmacy, manager....young black lady is busy playing with kids and not worrying about customers. the store is filthy. unorganized. not stocked. since this new management has taken over.....this store SUCKS!!!
