We held our rehearsal dinner in the enchanting garden of the Virginia Point Inn, and it was nothing short of magical. The setting was beautifully adorned with twinkling lights, lush florals, and charming decorations, creating a dream for the night before our wedding. After a last-minute cancellation from another venue, we booked here just a week prior, and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Pam, the event coordinator, was extraordinarily hospitable and efficient. She took charge, organizing everything to perfection and transforming the venue into a breathtaking scene for our special evening. Our family and friends were thoroughly impressed by the flawless execution, and the bartender and decorators also did a fantastic job! My two pieces of advice for future events here: trust Pam—she’s a master at event planning—and remember to bring bug spray if your gathering extends into the evening (Galveston mosquitos love the beautiful pool too). We are immensely grateful to Pam and her team for their exceptional service and for making our rehearsal dinner so memorable!

We held our wedding reception in the hands of Ms. Pam and she did an AMAZING job well done. The house and gardens were magically beautiful. All the guests are still talking about the wonderful time they had. Can't wait to come back and experience the Gatsby party. :-)Rooms: Beautiful.... stunning....Food & drinks: The breakfast was very tasty. The sugar cubes added a special touch!

A wonderful experience! The owner, Pam is very hospitable and keeps the home in an implacable state! Her breakfast was delicious and in addition there were snacks, toiletries and water at your disposal at not extra charge plus tea/coffee in your room. The bed room was very spacious and comfortable with a great air conditioning unit. Pam took me to the Galveston port and picked me up in my return. My car was parked by the bed and breakfast in a very safe spot…all included in the prized quoted! It is within walking distance to the strand and the neighborhood is very nice and safe. Loved it’s location! Would highly recommend it! ??‼️Will stay there again in the near future!

Very lovely Villa with spacious well kept grounds and and a nice sized pool which was freshly "shocked" and overly chlorinatedl! The interior decorations and furniture are Victorian aera. Lots of Fotographs of Galveston and the original Family on the walls.Unfortunately our host Pam from Dallas was in a grumpy mood (or I somehow rubbed her the wrong way) and her hosting left a wee bit of a sour note.As did the advertised breakfast. Half a pot of Coffee, a micro Quiche and some cold bacon plus a bit of sliced fruit does not make a breakfast for me as a European.A bit of paint, less cobwebs and a bit of metal polish for the corroded and stained brass armatures would go a long way tolift the interior up to its deserved standard. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony with the slider chairs were great!Free coffee, water and toiletries were plenty and of good quality. But we will not be back, considering the options Galveston offers for that price.

My husband and I came to Galveston for a birding festival. We were staying in another property when a wicked storm caused a leak in our room. Pam, the owner, and her daughter, graciously moved us to a room at their other property, Virginia Point Inn.What a big blessing this turn of events became for us. We can't say enough about the owner's concern for detail and ability to make us feel comfortable. The inn is beautiful. In a quiet area with screened in porches, large rooms and private baths. The gardens around the house enhance the beauty of the home. The breakfasts are worth getting up for. Crispy bacon, fresh fruit, quiche, etc. plenty of coffee and juice. We highly recommend Virginia Point Inn as part of the Galveston experience. But beware, like me, you may not want to leave when it's time to go.

This was my first time at a Bed & Breakfast and it was such a great experience. The location was perfect and the owner, Pam was so friendly and accommodating. When we first arrived she gave us a detailed tour of the property along with some fascinating history of the house and Galveston. The entire house and your personal rooms are tastefully decorated with antiques and historical pieces but also with many modern conveniences. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about our stay and it ended with a fabulous breakfast. My husband and I will definitely be going back when it is cooler and we can sit on our personal patio in front of the propane fire pit and look out into beautifully landscaped yard and gardens.

The Virginia Point Inn is a fantastic hidden gem in Galveston! The building has been renovated and decorated to the highest possible standard... no comfort or convenience has been overlooked. Every one of the amazing guest rooms has a wonderful screened in veranda with glider chairs & fire pit! The entire property is charming and the owner, Pam, is a fantastic hostess. If you're looking for a place to stay that offers "comfortable luxury", this is the right place! We'll definitely be back!

Well, this place looks so Victorian , its beautiful. We came to check on the high tea, only to find out that Hugh Tea is only on weekends, which, today and is, but it needs prior reservation as it is a privately arranged tea party. Its a Formal tea for a group of 4 or more requiring ladies- Stressing ladies to be dressed as Ladies complete with gloves and hat, which means men should be dressed as gentlemen too-if you are as romantic about Victorian dressing as I am, you would be excited!Ofcourse they can make the food no - meat if you wish to. The lady at the counter was super sweet and friendly. I can't wait to come back all dressed up.The cost is $45 per person
