One of my favorite hotels on Galveston Island. Centrally located and within easy walk of so many local attractions. The staff are awesome and take great care of the guests. Highly recommended!!!

What a wonderful hotel in an amazing town, my only regret is that I did not stay longer! I do look forward to returning.

Went for a wedding weekend & it turned out to be a great trip! Hotel front of staff is great & incredibly friendly. We’re always willing to help out or provide us with whatever we needed. The rooms were spacious and the high ceilings I personally enjoyed the view.
They have a bar in the lobby downstairs, the bartenders were friendly and make solid drinks!
I highly recommend the espresso martini they serve.
Valet service up front is pretty quick, just make sure they’re alert of anything that’s different about the vehicle if it’s a rental!
Bellhop staff was great with our entire wedding party as well! Made sure everyone luggage was taken care of and secure until we could check in & then ensured our luggage made it up to our rooms after we did check in!
Overall a great experience here & would definitely love to come back again!
Rooms: Love the tall ceilings. Comfy beds, rooms have plenty of space, showers stay hot.
Food and drinks: Downstairs bartenders are great! Espresso Martini up there is highly recommended!

Only went for a conference but the interior and restrooms were clean and accommodating. Wish we could have stayed a night.

Chic, elegant, touch of New Orleans, and just overall, fun, inviting and quality.
Walkability: Close to everything and very walkable.
Food and drinks: Drinks on the pricey side but service is excellent ?

It's definitely one for the awesome factor. Bars, and history. Tour goes through the lobby, and there's a bar and restaurant. There's a bar on the roof; Rooftop Bar. Staff is amazing.

The Tremont House is a very pretty hotel and it is located conveniently to the historic district. The bar downstairs is lovely and they produce very good cocktails. The rooms are nice but the lavatory area in the bathroom is way too small for convenience. I was also told the rooftop bar would be closed, but not that the pool was also closed.
Rooms: Rooms adequate size
Nearby activities: The Strand and cruise terminals are very close
Safety: Full time staff and keys required for entry after dark
Walkability: Very walkable area
Food and drinks: Lots of restaurants and bar in the vicinity
Noteworthy details: The hotel and lobby are very nicely done
