The staff at the front desk are great and very accommodating. The room was very clean and we did not have any issues with noise. Down side, the breakfast was mini honey buns and muffins. So you will definitely needs to plan for breakfast. Overall though great experience.

Rooms are okay…clean and spacious. Room service not daily, search not necessary (price/performance). Sea within walking distance in about 5-10. min. to reach, nice team at the pier ?. There are no toilets on the beach and there is rarely a changing room anywhere. Pool area at the hotel is a) available but b) absolutely loveless! No cushions for the loungers, no umbrellas. Great room. Unfortunately, noise was a problem:On the first night, the smoke alarm came on at 2 am. It Went on and on until the fire trucks came. A few minutes after they left, it briefly came on again. Then shut off on my side, but I could hear it on the other end of the building.Also, in the room next to mine, painting and construction was going on--so when I went back to my room to rest after exploring the Strand, suffering a headache from the humidity, I had to listen to music, noise, and conversations by the people working in there. And the paint fumes were noxious.I complained when I checked out about both issues--the attendant said she'd rather have an alarm come on than there be an actual fire--I agree, but the hotel has a no-smoking policy--if some yahoos somewhere in the building are not following the policy, they need to be dealt with. I expect some compensation for the noise.She apologized for the painting and work noise from next door but offered nothing in the way of compensation.While it's not the most expensive room or motel on the island, I expect to get what I paid for--a quiet room to rest and sleep.Do not recommend.

SUPER comfy room. Hot water in the shower. Tv with all the channels. Comfy bed. Lots of space. Microwave and a mini fridge!! You dont know how much we Europeans appreciate this ?? You are close but still far enough from the action. The beach is litteraly right down the way. Same with wahlgreens and kohls (food stores). Im staying here for 3days before my cruise and i could not be happier ??? exellent place to stay for what you pay for ?

Most of the service at this hotel was below Wyndham standards, especially the front desk. I had an hour wait to get checked in because they had problems with their printers. They finally let me check in but said I would need to come back and sign a form at my convenience. I told them I would be leaving the property to go fishing and I would see them in the morning. When I went to the "free breakfast" it was terrible compared to the many other hotels I visit on a frequent basis. The selection was extremely limited with no fruit or protein available. I stopped by the desk and they said everything was good, enjoy my stay. We went and got a real breakfast elsewhere, came back and we were locked out of our room. I went to the front desk again and got the key cards fixed. I asked again about the paperwork and was told it was fine. We left and went fishing, came back and were locked out again. This time their maintenance man was handy, promptly unlocked the door and took the key cards, fixed them and brought them right back. KUDOS to him. We left to eat, came back and were locked out again. This time they would not let us in unless I signed the form they failed to provide me the three previous visits to the desk. The room was substandard for Super 8, a chain I use frequently at other locations. It had 2 king beds but only one standard pillow. The spigot in the tub was loose, cracked and leaking when the shower was on. There was only one tiny night table between the beds with no outlets to plug phones or alarms in on that side of the room. All of these things are okay at $39 a night but not at the cost of $100 a night during the "off season". I would have taken this up with the management but they're clearly the problem. I plan on following up with Wyndham corporate.

Take care of your debit cards when you pay... it would be better to pay in cash... that's all my comment...I attach my lodging receipt so that they know the exact date of what they did…

Nice big, clean rooms, secure parking. It is a little hard to navigate the driveway entrance as you go through the Waffle House parking lot to get to the motel. But we had a good night's rest before our cruise. Would stay there again.

For two years in a row I’ve tried to stay at this motel, and the staff is just rude. The rooms are not clean. I do not recommend this motel to anyone, never stay here!!!Rooms: Nasty
