I went to get my ring appraised. They took it to the back and wouldn't allow me to go back there with my ring. He could have come out to me at the front desk to look at it but he insisted taking it to the back. When he brought it back out he said it wasn't real and I looked at it and I don't think it's not the same ring!

The owners are very nice people. The gentleman helped me out in a bind. Ok started some new medicine that made my hands swell and I needed the ring off immediately this gentleman was our hero today. He cut it off without damaging it too much so easy repair. We need more people like the owners here on the island so helpful.

How they ruined my Custom made ring! Chipped the stone! Flooded the back of my custom cut stone with what looks like thick epoxy that has distorted the stone completely!! Set the sapphire wrong in the earring mounting I purchased from him. The stone was crooked & prongs stuck up & were sharp. I said I wanted my ring corrected for pick up the next day. He got nasty and said "I have a three thousand dollar job im working on & I'm not going to stop that to correct your ring" !!! He ruined my ring.I Emeditly Took it all to Fullen Jewelry a well know jeweler on the island who kindly & politely explained that the sapphire was not seated in the earing mounting properly & that the mounting was not correctable & it had to be remounted in a new setting because the prongs had been ground down & would break If the stone was removed to be seated properly. I knew this but wanted a second opinion. I have worked in the jewelry industry and knew this work was awful the minute I saw it.. I was so mad!!I wanted to have someone else take care of the mess they made. When I called Sam & told him I knew what was done wrong & How upset I was & I needed them corrected asap due to a tripHe said he didn't have time to correct my earing! He finally said "Bring the earings back"! He then said "They look ok to me!" So incorrect work looks ok to him!! He then bent a prong to try to correct the fact that the stone was not seated in the mounting correctly, was crooked & the prongs were a sharp .In doing so the stone is now loose. I can't believe someone would try to defend such terrable work & not offer to pay for my custom made ring when they chipped the stone & made a complete mess of the ring. He blamed all the terrable work on his son & then said the ring was made wrong to start with! Why did he accept it if he thought it was made wrong! Only after it was ruined by his shop did he say the ring was made wrong. Funny I have worn the ring for 20 years. Why employ someone who can't do remotly decent work! It will now cost me hundreds to have this mess corrected , purchase new mountings for my earing & have my ring completely rebuilt! Never never take any valuables to this shop. Disgraceful way to run a business. He should have offered to refund the cost of the earing mountings and remove the stones.

Today I toke my brand new watch for shortening of its band and ask from a lady in this store to fix it. She gave it back to me after spending 10 mintues in the back of the store where I couldn't see her. The watch fell off of my wrist 5 seconds after I tried it, inside the store. Then I noticed scratch on the watch and ask her for the reason. She admit she used a hammer to push a pin inside, because she could not lock the pin in. Obviously she didn't have the skills and knowledge to fix the watch and damaged it.I easily got it fixed in Houston but those scratch is not fixable unfortunately.
