Very unprofessional hiring process. If you are looking to get a job here I would look elsewhere, management is absent and unhelpful. I worked hard everyday and got defaced for no reason. My department had no manager or training and never got the information I needed. I have never worked for a company so unorganized and unhelpful. Lazy management creates lazy work ethic.

Nicole, Randalls' Employee, distinguished herself by providing excellent service above and beyond what I would ever have expected. After finding my undelivered order from the previous day, Nicole took it upon herself to ensure a customer's order would be delivered. Ignoring any possibility of confronting an irate customer, Nicole fearlessly took responsibility and made contact with me. Nicole's customer relation skills allowed her to calmly and patiently to listen to me tell of my frustrating delivery experience. She then empathized and insured me she would resolve the issue. Nicole's knowledge of the customer order and delivery procedures, allowed her to establish a new delivery time quickly. Then she went beyond the norm, by guaranteeing the delivery, "if needed" would be delivered by herself. After her shift was completed, the order had still not been picked up for delivery. So as promised, Nicole took her personal time to make the delivery to my door. Nicole's integrity and dedication to Randalls and its customers are beyond reproach. Thank You Nicole and also Thanks to the Manager of Galveston's Randalls Grocery Store. (Sorry for the late posting - this happened on the 13-14th of July 2022)

5.27.22 I know I have written a review for Randall's before but I do not see it now. When we are on the island we stop at Randall's to pick up a few groceries. The store is always so COLD! Goosebumps cold! The Kroger's on the island is always so busy. Randalls is a smaller grocery store but they have everything we need. They have a nice selection of desserts too.

I find myself gravitating more and more to this store on the last few weeks. Everyone seems pretty friendly, and the store smells clean which is always a plus. For a store that traditionally back in the day, didn't sell beer or wine, they sell a nice selection of wines. I tried a nice Coppola Malbec, which is hard to find. As a corollary, Galveston is wired; they have had a Safeway, (a Randalls affiliate, and a HEB in the same location, but the Randalls remained. Guess they're doing the right things.

I want to give a shout out to Randalls. They have been swamped with delivery orders and folks buying big quantities of items. Like most businesses here, they short handed and are trying their best. So if you shop in the store and don’t find what you want, they probably don’t have any back in storage either. If you order for delivery and it’s wrong, call them but know they will make it right.

Stopped by to grab some groceries and were able to get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. One and done. The pharmacy staff were very professional and thorough. We also received a 10% off coupon. Awesome store!

I ordered shrimp. The weighted my shrimp at 1.22 lbs. I took it up and put it on the scales and it weighted and it came in at .63lbs! They were rude and mean. The manger Randy was beyond horrible. De-escalating is not in his vocabulary.
