Awesome little old school bike shop on the seawall. They have a large inventory of everything you need to ride the seawall or strand. Hats and apparel, lots of parts, and rental bikes. They also put on a night time glow ride. Support your local bike shop!

Walked in with flat tire and they were up front and transparent with pricing — $6 labor and price of tube depending on bike. Mine was $19. I offered to come back in an hour but they weren’t busy so they did immediate repair and had me on my way in less than 15 minutes.

Took my new bike in for a tube up, they took a week and I had to bring it back 2 times after peddling away for a minute. They didn’t assure their job was correct. A quick check peddle even on the rack would have worked. First time brakes were dragging, obviously issue. Second time chain was skipping gears, another obvious issue. They also broke plastic tabs on my beach cruisers brake housing and said they broke because Schwinns are not made to be serviced. No apologies or offer to make right, again it was a new bike not weathered. I super glued everything back to function.

Just recently had done business with them, and their service was nothing short of professional and providing quality customer service. I almost purchased a Schwinn bike from Academy for cheaper, as I'm getting used to cycling. I called them to get their opinion, and they said it is better to get a bike that is good quality and will last longer.I took them up on that and went to the store and walked out with a Retrospec Barron 21-Speed Hybrid Bicycle. I have taken it on a couple of rides, and it is amazing! The upgrades that happened was they upgraded the seats (has lights), added a rack, just recently added some saddle bags as well! They even exchange my kickstand for free and elected to put the lights I had on my MTB on my current bike.Ever since then, I know if I ever need repairs or upgrades, this is my go-to spot. And this also allowed me to grow an appreciation for bike shops, where good quality bikes are sold, with the bonus of customer service and satisfaction! As an Aggie, they got my salute. Gig'em!
