Great place to stay in Galveston. Great, location, peaceful, convenient & clean. I appreciate the open stairway since I prefer stairs over elevators. Dee, at the front desk is an absolute bonus, so pleasant, friendly, kind & helpful!

I have stayed at Harbor House 4 times for cruises, watched the cruise ship do the rotation (an amazing sight) EARLY in the am! Their coffee along with shrimp and cheese grits for breakfast. The rooms are beautifully decorated! Cleanleness superb. Cost to value, well worth it.

Great place if you want to be close to the Strand! Nice rooms, simple and clean. We are not big fans of the 70's retro look of hotel furniture these days, but other than that it is great!
