“Very seldom crowded and you never have a problem getting a good parking spot. Always an available gas pump or two! The staff is friendly and helpful. Be prepared to get hungry upon entering though! Mel's Seafood Diner is located inside and the smells coming out of there will physically drag you to the counter! This is a great place to do business and is highly recommended.”

Their prices on drinks and snacks are extremely decent - the same 2 men are working every time I go in, they definitely work too much, but they are usually smiling. “My husband, grandson Eedan and I stopped to buy gasoline, use the restrooms and buy soft drinks, at this Exxon, today. The small, free parking lot is very rough and uneven. Someone had threw a bag of trash down in the parking lot, recently. There was a trash can steps away, from the bag. The store is clean, as are the well-stocked bathrooms. It's a tiny store, so choices are limited. However, it's worth a stop for its gasoline, clean restrooms and cold beverages.”

“We recently moved to this area and there are a couple of different convenience stores right by us on Ferry Road, in fact one is directly next door. But I have found just another stoplight down the road is this store and I love it. It's a one-stop shop for normal convenience store items, but it also has a little taco bar in in the back with some of the most delicious handmade tacos and Mexican food on the island. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and make you feel like a valued customer. I have found that pretty much anything I need, they have, which is quite impressive for a corner store.I have nothing against the other store, but this one has the feeling of a family owned business with the charm of a neighborhood market. I obviously highly recommend this business.”

“If I could give them a 10 star, I would it's kind of a small little hole in the wall shop but absolutely fantastic people that work there everybody in the shop Dave the mechanic the lady at the desk the owner Sam absolutely fabulous. The prices are certainly reasonable, but the big thing about it is this guy is very very very honest. That's what I love about it he's not gonna overcharge you he's not gonna do work that doesn't need it , he's out for your benefit. They really are and I highly super recommend this place to get your car fixed.”

“Generic independent gas station. Above average for what it is. A bit expensive, but it's several miles to another option. If looking for close, as opposed to Walmart, this place will not piss you off. The staff is very friendly. Also, the liquor store next door belongs to the same person...silly Texas law. The clerk at the counter can open the other side and sell you booze during legal hours.”

“Ferry Road Food Mart is a neat and tidy 24/7 Gas Station and Convenient store located at 202 Harborside Dr wherein you will be able to find a variety of products like, but not limited to Community Coffee, Baits, tackles, beach products, soaps, pet foods, chocolates, chips, Dairy products, waters, soft drinks, fountain drinks, household cleaning products, etc.It has a neat and tidy Deli which is run from Monday to Saturday that prepares delicious food from 4:00 AM to 1:00 PMThere are assigned staffs who maintains the entire store clean including the bathrooms which are cleaned from time to time on an everyday basis, the entire staffs are interactive and friendly as well ensuring that the customer, employee relationships is like a family, where sometimes there maybe disagreements but at the end of the day we realize we all have one goal of being a nice human being in a society.The Management is friendly and believes that everyone’s issues needs to be heard and addressed in order to ensure that both the overall health of Employee as well as Customer’s are prioritized.”

“I absolutely love this gas station. Every time I come in there's the same sweet kind friendly guy behind the counter who always has a smile on his face and always tells everyone to have a good day. I've seen people be so rude to him and he still remains calm with a smile on his face and always tells them that he hopes they have a great day. Absolutely incredible customer service and great prices on gas and the gas is actually good quality gas and the chips are never stale and the drinks are always fresh. Five stars consistently every time I've ever walked in there for sure! Always extremely clean, even the bathrooms, and tons of variety.”

“Nicole, Randalls' Employee, distinguished herself by providing excellent service above and beyond what I would ever have expected. After finding my undelivered order from the previous day, Nicole took it upon herself to ensure a customer's order would be delivered. Ignoring any possibility of confronting an irate customer, Nicole fearlessly took responsibility and made contact with me. Nicole's customer relation skills allowed her to calmly and patiently to listen to me tell of my frustrating delivery experience. She then empathized and insured me she would resolve the issue. Nicole's knowledge of the customer order and delivery procedures, allowed her to establish a new delivery time quickly. Then she went beyond the norm, by guaranteeing the delivery, "if needed" would be delivered by herself. After her shift was completed, the order had still not been picked up for delivery. So as promised, Nicole took her personal time to make the delivery to my door. Nicole's integrity and dedication to Randalls and its customers are beyond reproach. Thank You Nicole and also Thanks to the Manager of Galveston's Randalls Grocery Store. (Sorry for the late posting - this happened on the 13-14th of July 2022)”

“I visit this gas station and convenience store on a regular basis. They have enough sundry items to accommodate most needs, staff is friendly and they have generous hours - having been open on Christmas and New Year's as well. I accidentally left my credit card in their reader and the clerk actually ran out to me in the parking lot to ensure that I did not leave without it!”

“Decent gs station and convenient store on the east side of the island. The prices are always a little cheaper than the surrounding gas stations nearby. The facility was pretty clean and all the stations were working well. There's a tire air machine too. The inside of the store is pretty organized too.”

“4 stars for being one of the cheapest gas stations on the island! We use Gas Buddy app to help us with gas prices and here we are again at the same spot. Across the street was Murphy / Walmart which was 1 cent cheaper... but we used our Valero card here which also gives us a discount so win win for us! I assume this price is the reg, as this was our experience April 2023 which was the same as Dec 2020. We filled up both times. It's small, parking lot is small. I didn't even go in so I can't tell you what it's like on the inside.”

“My boy totally got gas here- there was a lady in a bedazzled Astros jersey- I said is it even baseball season- he said I don't know- and then come to find out later on that evening it was opening day and I think the Astros lost so I wonder if her shirt twinkles just a little less?
