“I just left this dollar tree location and I just want to to say Kim did a fantastic job moving the long checkout line. Everyone in line was impressed and loved her! She was the only one checking people out at the time and I can tell she is a great employee. I hope she is there every time I go.”
“If you need a dollar store on Galveston Island, THIS is the one to go to. The staff are kind, the shelves are STOCKED, ORGANIZED, and the store is kept clean. The other two Family Dollars on Broadway are always too busy, chaotic, and often out of a lot of items. So, I recommend this one…
BUT, a message to management: GET THE A/C FIXED. Those employees working at this location are badass at their jobs and you can tell that just by walking into the other two locations then THIS Family Dollar location… and the difference in the energy is night and day. This location at Ave Q & 45th… the staff obviously care about the quality of their work and have good work ethic.
Fix the A/C. Your team at this location deserves the best.”
“The prices are pretty good for most stuff. Some canned/boxed groceries, but mostly just candy, chips, nuts, and snacks. There are some frozen foods, some dairy/lunchmeat coolers, beer/wine/cigarettes. You can find kitchen/laundry/bathroom/cleaning supplies, toys/diapers, dogfood/toys, toiletries, bug spray, sunscreen, stationary, greeting cards/balloons/party supply/gift wrap, t-shirts/shoes/shorts. T.P. & P.T. !
Park on Broadway right in front of the doors, and watch out for cars when you're getting out. Watch your purse and walk fast, there's usually some loiterers hanging around. You might stand in line a minute - they're usually understaffed, but never a terribly long wait. Open til 10.”
“Yes they sell perishables in their little refrigerated section, there's even can goods in a different section. But I never cook to Dollar Tree for those kind of things. I'm strictly coming for paper plates and plastic utensils. I also get gift items and the balloons are well worth getting from here for any occasion.”
“People who work there were very friendly.Especially Wanda. She was very helpful.But they still are getting the store backtogether after some remodeling they haddone. They still do not have all the products in stock yet. They are working on it. Some really good deals on clearance items, I was amazed . Bought a pair of shoes for $3.50 .”
