PLEASE RENAME THIS PROPERTY CUBIC ZIRCONIA BEACH IS DOWN THE STREET CONDOS. We rented a 3rd floor unit here through RYSON VACATIONS, and were refused a refund even though Hurricane Beryl just hit a week prior so we had to go or take a $1200 loss on the chin. The property outside and throughout the hallways were INFESTED with mosquitos. The youngest child in our group was bitten so much she had a severe allergic reaction and we all sustained several bites. Despite calling the company and reporting issues to staff on property multiple times, there was no relief or remediation of the issues we continuously experienced. Also, there is NO direct beach access. The beach BEHIND the property is all rocks and not swimmable. The pools were CLOSED and the power box kept tripping. You are also required to WASH the towels supplied in unit. The unit it self was really pretty as were the views but the experience and management company were a NIGHTMARE. We paid a premium PRICE for a Motel 6 bed buggish experience. We would NEVER RETURN.

Be careful with IVAN. The manager I believe? Volatile, rude.
If you are an owner and have a cleaning company working for you, BEWARE, for no good reason Ivan and his manager may harass your crew for no reason and at random. Threatening to tow their vehicles.
Even the front ladies when approached about cleaning people and parking permits will tell you that they do not require such thing. But arbitrarily Ivan and his manager will harass cleaning people about it when is know within the cleaning companies in Galveston that permits are not a thing for cleaners.
BE CAREFUL.

We have stayed at Diamond Beach 4 years in a row. It was incredible our first year back in 2021. The property seems to be slowly going down hill. This year, the pool is closed, & we are not allowed to go out on the balcony. We are not allowed to open the door so we cannot hear the water or enjoy relaxing outside. We did not learn about this until we checked in therefore Vacasa is refusing a refund or credit. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Stayed over the weekend. This place isn't fully operational. There are 2 elevators. One of them wasn't working so waiting for 1 elevator took a while. The pool was closed. The bar was closed. Overall, it was a good place (not great). The staff was friendly enough. The property was in decent shape. The lazy river is the best part (and only thing to enjoy). The pool looked really nice but again, wasn't open. The indoor pool was open but that's not why people go there - swimming in a hot, humid room isn't appealing. Spend your money elsewhere until this place is fully operational where you can actually use the amenities you're paying for.

Our ladies weekend was blissful!
We VRBO-ed a third floor room that could have easily fit 6 people comfortably. From the large living room to a complete kitchen, and slidingdoor out to the balcony, we could have easily spent everyday inside. Everything was so comfortable and I loved how coastal the decor, the swinging chair in the corner, and being able to hear & see the ocean when we ate breakfast outside.
We spent hours just drifting in the lazy pool and going in & out for snacks by our close by shades area (There were lots of umbrellas to choose from). It was so fun being able to just lay back, relax, and literally let the current bring us around and around. Next time I'm challenging my sister to their outdoor chess set.
There was and easy access to the beach next to the volleyball courts behind the lazy river that we took advantage of a few times. We sat and let the waves come to us or went seashell hunting. There was also plenty to do for the kids & kids at heart inside and out.
Will be coming again!!

Amazing view of the beach and pool/lazy river. The resort was nice and we loved the amenities. Check-in/out was quick and the front desk clerks were helpful/nice. The pool was never crowded and we did not have to drive far for restaurants, attractions, or shopping. The electricity went off for a moment on our last night but we made the best of it! We loved the layout/space of the condo (609), however it was a few things that could have been better:
-Communication- Mold was in the washer and bathrooms. I did reach out to property manager with photos and was told they would send housekeeping. After waiting for a few hours and no housekeeper or communication from property management, we had to go to Walmart to buy some products to clean. Not how we wanted to spend our afternoon.
-The A/C kept going up to 76/77 even though we would change it to 72. It was hot especially at night! Not sure if the owner was controlling it, but it was too hot!
- Housekeeping needs to do a thorough cleaning. There was dust in a few places and we found hair in 2/3 beds. Some of the baking pans were dirty and put in the bottom cabinet.
Overall, we made the best of it!

Beautiful condo with a great view. The gameroom is nice and the lazy river and hot tub were worth it. The so called swim up bar does not exist nor does the slide. Front desk staff could be a little more outgoing. The room was worth the visit.

This place is one of the best places I have stayed it's not to far from home, and lots of storage in bedrooms. We stayed on the 5 floor first room to your left of the elevator, we stayed for 3 days and although only 2 bedrooms there was a pullout bed in the couch and it was very comfortable best sleep I've had in a while. Going outside the pools are great in all but I know there's palm trees everywhere the pool needs more cleaners. Out of the 3 days we stayed we saw the same cleaner all 3 days so, when people took pictures on there balcony it looks great but dirty. Residents are very nice I made a freind name Woody and we played all 3 days we both spent here. Staff very pleasant but gaming room is very old pac man doesn't work at all, maybe vintage... idk. But overall it's a hour drive and tbh it doesn't look like we're still in Texas since we live in Houston. Very good ocean view though l!! We will be back!!! OH AND SHOWER VERY CLEAN OUR ROOM HAD 2 HEADS ONE OVER LIKE A RAINFALL AND A SECONDARY FOR LIKE POWER BEST SHOWER!!!! XOXO Kai

Diamond Beach Condos is a beautiful property with plenty to offer for a family getaway. The outdoor pool and lazy river were fantastic and a huge hit with the entire family. The game room and movie theater are neat additions that provided endless entertainment for the kids. The grounds are well-kept and the property, for the most part, is too.
However, I strongly advise against renting unit #505. Our experience in this particular unit was far from pleasant. The master bath tub had black mold buildup, and taking a bath resulted in tons of chunks coming out of the jets. Additionally, the jets did not work, making the jacuzzi tub a complete waste. The fridge had broken drawers, and the toilet paper holder in the master bathroom was broken upon arrival, with the roll and holder lying on the ground.
The floors throughout the condo were not well vacuumed and were not mopped at all. Ice machine is not working.
To top it off, the towels from previous tenants were left dirty in the washer, resulting in a lack of clean towels when we needed them. It was clear that #505 is rundown and not properly maintained or cleaned.
Despite our negative experience with unit #505, the rest of the property was delightful. We enjoyed the amenities and the overall ambiance of Diamond Beach Condos. However, until #505 is given the attention it needs, I would recommend avoiding this unit to ensure a more enjoyable stay.

First time here. Several comments that prompt this review. No hot water from whatever the central water supply is make for very brief showers...no "hot" water....just warm and sometimes barely that. The hot tube water on the other hand is very hot. Very clean, the staff do an excellent job of keep everything very clean around the pool including the water, the bathrooms, the deck area chairs, grills etc. The location is nice being a bit away from the main high traffic areas. Parking is good, and they really police the wrist bands. We will likely be back again in the off season.

We had a wonderful beachfront experience. Comfortable beds and linens. It was nice to relax on the balcony over looking the ocean. Great staff. Very private
