The bed bug covers show signs of bed bugs and there was a dead bed bug still on it. Told them about it and they said I didn't know what I was talking about and they don't have bed bugs here. You can be the judge by the photos. EVERYTHING is moldy. There is mold on the pull out couch, mold on the wood bedside table, mold on the curtains, mold on the beds, and the carpet feels sticky. A lot of unknown brown stains everywhere as well. Absolutely disgusting. Paid 324 for one night to sleep in a moldy nasty room. Definitely won't use this hotel again.

TLDR: Unprofessional, Bait and Switch, Terrible Customer Service, Avoid if you canWe had a cruise planned out of Galveston. We called this hotel and they said they offered cruise parking and a shuttle back and forth. I asked about reserving a spot, and was told not to worry about it, they never have issues getting people to the port when they need to be there. So we booked. When we showed up, it took 30 minutes to check in. The lady at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. When I asked about getting a shuttle to the port for my 10AM embarkation, I was told the first time slot they had available was 1245PM. After some back and forth, the only solution offered was to park at the hotel and I pay for an Uber to the port.After that, we left for dinner. Upon coming back, every single spot was full. I'm not sure how you can offer parking for cruises and not even be able to accommodate all of your guests parking. We asked the front desk where we can park since every spot was full. The suggestion we got (and others) was to park in the fire lane area beside the hotel. Knowing that's illegal, we asked who was liable if there was an issue. "Well, you are of course" was the response we got.We left as soon as we could the next morning and won't be coming back. I wouldn't stay here again if I were offered a free night.

Booked a room for this hotel a few months before a cruise. To make sure we could get seats on the shuttle we called ahead to reserve a seat. We were told by the staff no need to reserve a shuttle it won’t fill up. After driving 10 hrs we arrive at the hotel to check in and are told the shuttle is completely booked. To make matters worse when arriving back at the hotel after dinner there was no parking. When front desk was asked where do they suggest parking they suggested the fire lane. Additionally they refused to give me their name.

Absolutely horrible experience. I would never ever bring my kids there. The hotel itself was filthy from the hotel hallway the elevator and the room itself. No hot water whatsoever and the breakfast was all stale as hell. I have patiently waited for over a week now from a return call from the manager dee Singh and hopes to resolve this issue but no response whatsoever. You're better off sleeping outside

Absolutely horrible experience. hotel in general was filthy, including the room, the hallway and the elevator. breakfast was all stale. No hot water whatsoever after several several phone calls over a week now and I haven't had a phone call back from the general manager to address the issue.

I am going to be stying with you in December and leaving on a cruise. I called up with some questions and Gloria at the front desk was so helpful and knowledgeable. She answered every question and was so friendly. I am so excited to be staying with you if this is the service I can expect I will be staying with you every trip to galveston in the future.

Very clean and comfortable rooms with an amazing view. The lady at the front desk, Gloria is very friendly and helpful every time I stay here. She knows me as soon as I walk in.

This place is VERY dirty. The bathroom smelled heavily of urine and was missing fixtures and stained. The sheets are yellowed and there's dust everywhere. The other guests I spoke to complained of dust on their microwave and sticky surfaces. The halls are sprayed with air fresheners so strong that my asthma was constantly aggravated. My a/c unit was not properly sealed into the wall and whistled anytime it wasn't running. The gym equipment is either out of order or missing recommended safety measures. When our bed was made by house keeping in the morning they removed the sheet between us and the comforter and took a bag of unopened candy from the desk for my blood sugar. I spoke with the GM who took note of all my complaints and worked diligently to get my bathroom fully cleaned and take care of blood sugar issues however it seems that the owner is uncaring of the disgusting property and not giving the resources needed to fix it. The other guests spoke of other comfort suites being far better. There was an overwhelming sense of ick to the entire weekend. This was a nightmarish stay in need of serious overhaul. Go literally anywhere else. Also the wifi sucked. Had to use my data because I couldn't load more than 2 seconds of any video. The TV only has 12 channels and is very small. Half the outlets didn't work.Nearby activities: This location is far away from the majority of activities and restaurants.Safety: My door did not properly latch behind me like every other hotel door I have encountered. It had to be pulled tight every time or would remain ajar indefinitely.Walkability: The only walkable destinations from this property are the Cinema and Pho restaurant. The beach is within walking distance but across a very busy road with no crosswalks

The best part about the room? Was the ocean front view. And honestly the balcony was the cleanest area.. upon check in got into the room it was spacious. The TV wasn't giving volume which once my husband went downstairs to report it, the lady was here promptly to fix the volume issue with the TV, which to me as minor...I asked her WHY there was hand prints on the built-in head board white stuff there as well and not to meantion the white stain on the dust ruffle that we don't need a scientist to figure out..CSI could have swab it to figure out who's it was, just disgusting. Dusty curtains filthy outside the refrigerator filthy beside the refrigerator was filthy...it was our anniversary so my husband got one with the jacuzzi tub? Let just say I was definitely not getting in it after he wiped it out? It was as dark as him, disgusting...the lady said they had new housekeepers? Well common sense should tell you how to properly clean a room I would hate to go to their houses...she said that the doors were left open for inspection behind them? Don't think she or however done there job...yes there was paper coming off the walls carpet needed to be pulled up and replaced. Those things are minor I can over look that, things can be worn but cleaned...they need to overhaul the entire building and start over...I will not stay here again even if it free.....4/16/24

Rooms are very large and spacious it's out dated but quite and the space in the room was great. Breakfast was good. And the view is good. Not right on the road so noise from it next to none

I called to speak with the manager about canceling my reservation but she told me she cannot do it because of the type of reservation I made. Almost $500 down the drain for 2 nights! In my reservation details it states I can cancel 72 hours prior to my arrival date! I called almost 4 months prior! Will never book here again! Poor customer service!

For the amount of money I paid for this room I had expected more. Got to the room and the toilet had not been cleaned and there was leftover food in te refrigerator. Carpet had not been vacuumed and part of the curtain was hanging off. We were given an “upgraded “ room (same room with a balcony) the wallpaper was peeling , water stains on the ceiling around the smoke alarm and one of the sprinklers was hanging out of the ceiling. Booked here the night before a cruise because of the parking and shuttle service offered to the port. Our stay was great! The lady at the front desk was very friendly, accommodating and informative. We checked in pretty late and she made the experience pleasant for us as we had been driving for the last 7 hours. The rooms were clean and comfy, I'm sure the balcony view was great but lots of fog this time. I had to take one star because of the breakfast, very few options. Either way this is a great place to stay before your cruise.

Not a bad hotel IF you are able-bodied!Older hotel that's a bit run down, BUT you can tell improvements have been made making it adequate for able-bodied individuals.. Newer furniture, newer beds, main area of hotel was clean and attractive looking, hotel room was ok. Really worn carpeting, Accessible bathroom was nice sized and easily accessible BUT the shower has not been properly cleaned for quite awhile because when I was assisting my disabled husband to shower, the floor of the shower was so slick from years of soap scum or some other slippery residue that we both fell. Walls are also vey thin, you will hear what the people in the rooms next to you are discussing. Also do not use their shuttle service if you are disabled because for our return trip the shuttle driver left us waiting for 2 hours then knowing my husband was in a wheelchair but could transfer the only seat remaining when he did finally return for us was in the back where there was no way to load my husband. We ended up riding in a different shuttle altogether becausemy husband was already left in the heat too long (resulting in my stroke Survivor husband getting heat stroke and an emergency room and hospital stay.) Overall not a bad hotel UNLESS you are disabled in any way. If you are disabled, or even have mobility issues, it is NOT a safe place for you to stay!!!!!
