do not use this company. Johnny is a thief, you will get no work done, And lose all of your money. He destroyed my home and vacated the project. Money is still owed back to us. But we know we will never receive it. Because Johnny doesn't do good quality work on Galveston Island.

I wanted to use a local company for flooring so I asked for a referral from a local garage door company I had used. They told me about Coastal Flooring and Home Renovation. My mother and I went to their showroom and were greeted by Johnny and Camilla. They were very helpful in assisting us in picking out vinyl flooring for the entire house where I live on the West End. They quoted us a reasonable price and the floor guys showed up exactly when they said they would. They were extremely professional and worked diligently until the job was done. They moved furniture, covered it, then put it back after finishing the area they had completed. They made sure my mother and I had comfortable places to sit when they would leave for the evening (the job took about 3 1/2 days). I also decided to have the toilets and refrigerator replaced and Johnny guided me through picking them out. He ordered them, picked up the toilets and his floor guys installed them. Johnny hauled off the old refrigerator and the new one arrived as he promised. I THEN decided to have the front door replaced. Again, the job was completed as promised. The door needed a little adjusting and both Johnny and Camilla returned to finish off the door even though full payment had been made and they really didn't have to. I would have to say that everything was done to near perfection. I am very pleased and feel like I have a new home. Nightmare that would not end. I hired this company because I was promised they could do all the work needed to rehab a older home off of Broadway close to town. Johnny and his workers, he picks up in a white passenger van off the streets of Galveston are unskilled and many were homeless. The pricing kept changing for the worse. The workers were continuously stealing my things, I had to stay home and deadbolt a bedroom and keep as much of my things in there to keep them from getting stolen. Workers would not show up regularly because they were in jail or didn't wake up or would just wander off. They would leave for days and go work on other jobs. My 3 week promise turned into 3 months. If anyone sees them with a red fiberglass ladder, Dewalt circular saw, drill, router, saws all, paint with Zeke -------- name on them they are mine and a white Trek bicycle.

Johnny's team turned up on time and completed the jobs efficiently, which is great when you have a lot of work to schedule. We had vinyl plank installed and the work was fantastic. We had carpet installed and the result was average, it would have been great if the installers provided some professional advice on how the carpet would look on our old subfloor surface so we had an opportunity to fix it before installation. Instead we have new carpet with visible lines and lumps due to the poor subfloor which may have been resolved with underlayment. Johnny's team installed backsplash tile and did a good job although not perfect, some big areas filled with grout where tile was cut too short. Finally they installed quartz countertop. Unfortunately counter top was scratched and counter top was installed unlevel in one section, both of which Johnny refused to fix and still charged full price.

Wow! I could not ask for a more professional flooring company. We live in a historic home in the East End built in the early 1900's. We wanted to keep the original hardwoods; however, we needed to have subfloor put under the house. This company did an incredible job, you would never know that the flooring had any issues it is like brand new. Johnny and Seneca both treated our home like their own home. I would recommend them to anyone needing work done!Dr. Brian Malechuk

Online number didn't work both times I called. I tried emailing and he did answer so he gave me a number and we spoke on the phone.The plan was for him to call me the next morning around 8 am to tell me what time that afternoon he would be by my house. No call.My time is just as precious. It would have been professional and curteous to get a call even if he couldn't make it.When I tried him back the number "wasn't working" again.This speaks volumes to me. Respect and communication is everything. In my recent experience.....if you don't have these two things, you end up losing a lot of money and being frustrated while not getting your job done.I'm disappointed because I've heard such good things about this company but none if what I heard was true in my case.
