I don’t like PNC as a bank, but tellers here are super nice and helpful. I needed larger bills for my cruise and didn’t have a local bank. They let me withdraw from the ATM and they changed me up to $100s.

Terrible bank if you're not paying attention they will charge you overdraft fees when you didn't even actually overdraft. They constantly edit debits and credits to my account changing dates and amounts. Also, customer service is a joke and they are trained to lie to you. Stay far away from this bank they are currently being sued for fraud amongst other things. This bank is not a good choice and I have moved my money elsewhere.

Worst experience ever here! Out of town here for a cruise and stop to withdrawal cash. Once we insert our card in, the ATM screen changed and said temporarily out of service and kept the card. We go inside and they tell us it is not their ATM and there is nothing they can do. We explained it's linked to our account for the cruise and the problem it creates since we do not bank there. Extremely frustrating

This location needs training on how to deal with certain cultures and races. Came here to open a business account and the lady asked if I did hair for a living. Yes I am African American and no all African Americans don’t do hair. Would definitely recommend anyone here of that race to put their funds elsewhere

I’ve been with BBVA for about 4 years now. When I was located in Dallas, I never had a bad experience and loved them. But coming down here, and dealing with BBVA Galveston, I almost just about closed my account down. I spoke to a woman banker about a suspicious charge and consequently an overdraft charge (after making sure my account wouldn’t be allowed to). She couldn’t offer me any help because in her words “I didn’t have a ledger”. She had me come behind her desk and lean over her (which made me uncomfortable because you know COVID) to show me what I already knew that my account was over drafted. She honestly got kind of snarky with me, which was shocking because I genuinely was trying to figure out what happened with my account. But she turned me away, and it wasn’t until I called management that I was able to square my account away. I’ve only stayed with them for a back up account, and hopping with the PNC change that we’ll see new friendlier faces in there.

Absolutely the worst bank I’ve ever banked with! I’ve been with BBVA for 6 years, I’ve always been annoyed at how long they hold a check or their deposit limits but it was a small inconvenience to stay and not go through the hassle of switch banks. I had a fraud charge of a few hundred dollars, reported it immediately and disabled my cards. I spoke to a woman named Carol there after threatening to close my account. She said give it some time for their fraud department to investigate it. 9 days later the money was credited back to my account. TWO months later I get a letter saying the fraud department came back and it was a legitimate charge and debited my account for it! I went to the bank immediately and they basically said their hands were tied but I can review the evidence their fraud department had. So not only did BBVA basically call me a liar on the charge but acted like it was no big deal to lose a customer of several years. Take your money else where.

This bank SUCKS! I went in to cash a check that was of a customer of theirs. After calling and verifying that they had issued the check I presented my passport as ID. It is expired by a month and LEGALLY still valid as identification. They would NOT accept the ID because I was NOT an account holder and thus NOT cash the check. They certainly WON'T be getting me to become one.

LACK OF SERVICE ON CREDIT CARD! I had a questionable series of charges that I disputed. BBVA did not address the dispute but put a BLOCK on my Secured credit card. In THREE Email messages, I have asked that my card will be replaced but because the automatic system put a block on my card, I can't get a new one! CHOSE CAPITOL ONE which is much better!

Not a good experience here. We've been banking here for over a year and it seems like no one has any clue what's going on. Our checks take forever to be cleared when depositing. They advised us to use the Optimizer credit card to help my husband build his credit. They failed to explain the interest rates on this card until I saw it on the paper and asked. We transferred money to the account and then got a letter in the mail saying he was denied. No one told us we could be denied by it. Now they're expecting us to come in to the bank to transfer our money back to our savings. The whole process is a mess and we are hoping to transfer everything to a different bank soon.

If I could give 0 stars I would! My mother put a $76,000 retirement check from AT&T in the bank and after 5 days of holding it they’re telling my mom that she can’t get an account there and they have to hold her money for another 7-10 business days before they can give her money/check/cashiers check to her. They don’t answer or call you back. Rush rush rush to get their money and horrible customer service. By far the worst bank experience we’ve ever had. I don’t recommend AT ALL!!! I really want to go Pickett outside their bank is how bad I don’t recommend them but hopefully this review gets to the right people! Good luck!
