The times I have been here there is always this old lady, don’t know her name, who attends me. Don’t know if she’s just rude or racist. The first encounter with her I was with my family trying to get my passport. It seemed as if we were bothering her just by being there. When she attended us she was being a bit rude, but we didn’t say anything about it. Behind us there was a white man, and when she attended him suddenly she’s all friendly? Also, not so recently I went to get copies of my passport for travel reasons and when she was getting me the copies she kept looking through my passport as if it was fake. Maybe I misunderstood these situations, but it just seemed a bit racist in my opinion.

The mail employees are very helpful and friendly. They explain prices and options for mailing packages and books. I love the friendly Texas hello I get from the staff. And how quickly and efficiently they dispatch our mail.

No customer service to speak of! So sorry Rhonda that we needed you to do your job, didn't mean to inconvenience you with your "lack of basic information add c'mon decency, stick up your rear" attitude good lord just needed help with a passport... We're going to the library instead

I had a significant delay in a package bouncing around multiple north Texas USPS hubs. I got connected with Chelsea who was absolutely wonderful in her courtesy, motivation and overall polite customer service. She investigated the peculiar trend of the package scans and I eventually received my package the following day. This morning she followed up with me to ensure all was well. Each part of the process was the epitome of fabulous customer service. Thanks Chelsea!

Don't get your passport here. Appointment time doesn't matter you will be waiting an hour regardless and the woman is wholy rude and will THROW your paperwork if it's not completed the way she wants. Her name Rhonda.

If I can give zero stars I would I been trying to get in touch with them but everytime they don't answer on purpose or basically just make sure I go straight to voicemail basically....that Isn't good customer service what if my question was simple yet important this just looks bad on them in general!

I live in town and have to go to the post office every couple weeks to pick up my packages they won't deliver. In my life I have never dealt with or had a problem with postal service til Gainesville. I pay for delivery and instead have to pick it up myself the majority of the time.

Don’t trust this location with your passport application. I made an appointment and did all the paperwork prior to arriving had photos and everything. Lady at the counter took it put it in an envelope and sent it off. Got a letter from US DOS weeks later saying sorry your acceptance clerk didn’t fill out their part correctly so your application is void and you need to do it again. Now because I moved out of state I will likely need to pay the acceptance fee again because I can’t go back to the same post office.

Terrible service. We routinely recieve our mail already opened. Mail disappears (I have the app so I know whats supposed to be delivered)If you have anything shipped overnight that has to go thru this post office you can watch the tracking all the way to this location and it says "out for delivery" 8 times out of 10 it does not show up for 1-2 days after and sometimes we get the added bonus of the package being opened already and stuff missing.If you have the misfortune of going in to this location do yourself a favor and avoid "Rhonda" at all costs. Hands down the most obnoxious person Ive ever dealt with at any post office. Also check back on your reviews if you leave one. This is my 3rd time because mine has been removed twice already. My experience with these people since I moved to Gainesville has been so bad that I will keep posting it. I feel like people should know. The fact that their rating is only like a 3.2 after removing most of the bad reviews should tell you all you need to know. Thats up from the 2 stars they had the 1st time I posted. To the person below who posted about the Amazon package that was retuned get used to it. They return mail and packages all the time with no explanation at all.

I visit this post office all the time as I ship hundreds of packages a month for my business. The staff here is warm, friendly, and helpful every single time. I love doing business with them!

I have to say that this post office is the most friendliest and most efficient post office I’ve ever been too. I frequently send quite a bit of care packages to our deployed troops, and Mary Lou is always eager to help, with the friendliest smile. I’ve been to other post offices where I was never greeted with the same customer service. Not even close! Mary Lou goes above and beyond and Gainesville is beyond lucky to have her! ❤️

We subscribed to the USA today newspaper this is Saturday, November 16 we have received one paper which was delivered last Tuesday the 12th which was paper dated the eighth. This is truly unacceptable service from a US post office

Mail Carrier for Lake Kiowa is just awful. Ten times I have had items say out for delivery and and they haven't shown up. Items that shipped separately from the same order never come together. She decides what and where to deliver and some days doesn't come at all when I know know FOR SURE I have packages. So tired of this BS. Exactly a reflection of her employer, the U.S. Government.
