“Ok, I quit smoking, so I stopped here to buy cigars so I could quit them... it's a process! Don't Bully me as my kids say. Usually, road rangers have a large wood and glass case that is not sealed and has huge gaps in them, with the humidor being on the bottom, so it does very little to keep them humidified. A dried out cigar is still better than no cigar, but I was surprised to discover this Road Ranger has a modern electronic humidor. I do not believe the humidor was on as it did not display humidity or temperature, which would be good to know if you smoke cigars. I prefer 70° F and 70% humidity myself. All the cigars are in glass or metal tubes, so I am unsure how much effect the beautiful electronic humidor would have on them. The top shelves have the best selections outside of a total wine and more. Aging room quattros, several different varieties of oliva series V leaning more to the maduros as well as a good selection of my fathers cigars. The bottom shelves I liked less, but that is my preference, not their quality, such as punch and macanudos. I started with an aging room, of course. It was well hydrated and delicious flavor with great spice and a little bite to remind you this is not exactly a healthy habit. Customer service was not the best, but I arrived after they had been up on their feet a long time on nightshift, so I understand the desire to just go home, which is why I did not deduct any points. I will definitely return for more cigars to this road ranger but will try to come at the beginning of their shift. Bathrooms and store were clean, and they had a lot of things to sell, but I was just focused on their cigars tonight.”

“Nice spacious gas station that is conveniently located and easy to get into and out of. I took away a star bc I always pay at the pump, and it is next to impossible to see what the screen says after you put in your card. I have this problem at every Valero. I always put in my card, wait for it to beep, then put in my zip code and press Enter. I figure the pump won't start unless the payment was accepted...but I always worry that I'm inadvertently driving off without paying for my gas just bc I can't see the dang screen to know if everything went through. This is an equipment problem with Valero itself, not this particular location. Valero needs to install high contrast screens that are easy to read no matter what time of day you go (this problem may be better at night, but I wouldn't know).”

“We were coming from Arkansas and heading to rednecks with paychecks so we stopped here to get all of our gas and ice that we were going to be needing. Since this was a travel center, we expected them to have access to water for our camper. But when we got there this is a small travel center and they do not have water. So we actually found a bigger truck stop a couple of miles down the road that provided more of what we needed for our trip. But just for your local everyday gas station, they have everything that you need. And the workers inside were very friendly. And the bathrooms were clean.”

“The attendant didn’t talk to me at all when I was
checking out, which was freaking awesomeness. I was able to buy 7 3-packs of sharpies and excessive amounts of caffeinated drinks, so A+ for convenience. The bathrooms were pretty nice, had a lot of silly prints on the walls and there were some dead cockroaches in the corner for decoration. 4 stars because the bathrooms were too clean for my liking but the cockroaches almost make up for it. Would recommend.”

“This trip would've been quicker if I had known to park on the side near the men's restroom. Overall though, it was a short walk through the store and I was in and out without delay, so I would say it was a quick trip. The name definitely describes the establishment.”
“My husband has Alzheimers and often gets disoriented. He went into the station to get some food and cash from the ATM. I had to go in and straighten things out. Your cashier, Steve, was very helpful and kind. Give that man a raise!”

“These ladies are the nicest people around! Polite, respectful, well mannered and personable. I go here to get my coffee every morning. Lady behind counter recognized me after a week and signed me up for rewards. I get a free coffee every 6th day because she assisted me. I never would've known about it if she hadn't said anything. “Almost always answer the phone (no voicemail). Usually schedule delivery same day, or within a few days. Price usually meets going rate standards, or a few cents cheaper. I love, *love* their tank info App that allows me to monitor levels in terms of quantity and percent over time, which also sends the info into the office. Top notch.”
