CVS Pharmacy used to offer holiday candy for sale 1/2 off regular price starting the day after the holiday. Now, they offer it 1/3 off in some cases, have no signage telling the discount, and often have inadequately trained staff. Liking CVS less and less.

One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. You think a store as large as CVS would be able to handle stocking commonly used medicine. But not the case. Plus, I had a medicine sent there for filling. They never texted me to say it was ready as I am set up for this. When I came into the store for the third time and asked for my prescription, they said they canceled it since I didn't come in to pick it up it. The other 2 times I came in to pick it up, they told me it was on order. I would change Pharmacies in a second. However, it the only one in Gainesville that takes my insurance. Worst Pharmacy ever..

The worker in drive thru was the nicest person I have met! She was very polite and helpful! I did not catch her name but she is an outstanding employee and person!

I have never had a good experience picking up prescriptions at this store. Slow and unfriendly staff.

RX was sent in at 9AM this morning. At 4:50 PM I was told it still wasn't ready and it would be another 30-45 minutes before it was. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!

Bad horrible experience. I got a text my med couldn’t be filled. I called and tech cked and said it was fine and would be filled. Next day I went in. The doctor had erred on the date it could be renewed. Since it’s a controlled substance they said they couldn’t do anything. Said I was the one who didn’t pick up my last months meds. I said that’s impossible. Refused to even help me. Acted like I was trying to steal pills. I asked for verification of why they couldn’t renew. I called my doctor’s office and they didn’t believe me. I said here talk to the pharmacist. The pharmacist didn’t want to use my phone and said have them call in. I said no, because I’d heard how many calls were on hold and no one was answering. So he reluctantly answered. Doctors office also asked for verification of why the pharmacy wouldn’t fill and denied they put in the wrong date. Now the pharmacy and doctors office are arguing. The pharmacist said it was in some system and he couldn’t change it on his end. Then he something else and hung up on them! I’m standing there. Pharmacist is typing something. So I asked what was going on and pharmacist said my doctor had to cancel the order. That’s all he said. So I called doctors office back and he told me they were going to cancel and rewrite as soon as pharmacy faxed something over. Oh brother. So finally the pharmacist says it will be filled. That day. But he didn’t say when. I was tired of being there now so I said I’d come back. I left and went to another store. Turns out they filled the meds just minutes after if left. So rude. It’s a dirty pharmacy all cluttered and unhappy over worked staff apparently.

I would like to know why, after all the complaints ive read online how this location is not under investigation. My mother is always having her medications held from her at this location, or given the run around as to why they cant give her medications a day early due to DEA and NEW FEDERAL REGULATIONS. Doing something even as little as this, or extending your help by requesting and reaching out to the doctors for the patient. This would be a nice thing to do. I have made it to where medications are a week out, and sometimes still wind up getting them two days past the prior seven days already given extending the days given to nine whole days. This should allow plenty of time to get all prior authorizations handled or call and fix any errors made ect. My mother lives over 37 miles away, is disabled, does not drive and has a lengthy history with the medications and taking them. She has end stage COPD, spinal stenosis and wears oxygen full time, still without hesitation CVS, Gainesville refuse & decline to dispense her medications a whopping 13 hours before the script falls under the two day rule?? Its always some new federal rule, or PMP rule for a physician. I was told this time a day early would mean me having to call the Doctors Office have them request an early fill and authorize it with insurance. Insurance okayed it, it was a refill.. the doctor didnt need to okay it. She did that went the sent in the three refills with the original prescription. Its not like my 75 year old mother over took her medications or did something illegal with them, she is old and just wanted to have someone pick them up without having to make a special trip on her fixed income, plus being her age and getting out and about just isn't their cup of tea. Its up to the pharmacists if the request are within reason to make this type of judgement call. Insurance will pay, that means by all legality my mother should be permitted the availability to pick her medications up when it is convenient to her. You all need to make some changes!

I went to pick up some photos. I could hear an employee complaining about his job. I waited by the photo area for a while. He finally walked to the area, never speaking to me. I asked him about my photos. Hesaid he didn't know anything about that area and went on with what he was doing. I walked around until I found another employee, Hope, who was happy to help me. Your employee, Joseph, needs more training as soon as possible.
