I have four children so have utilized many daycares, but this one has been my favorite ❤️ Low turnover with teachers. Director and assistant are very involved and know all parents and children by name. Can’t say enough great things!

I am so excited we made the right choice for my daughter. We toured multiple schools but the moment we toured The Blue Elephant we knew this is the type of environment we trusted our daughter to be in!

My family and I love TBE. When we first moved to the area I was terrified of new people watching over my kids. But my fears were quickly quieted after visiting TBE, speaking with the staff, and seeing how happy and engaged everyone (kids, teachers, staff, parents) was. The building has beautiful murals throughout that are bright and exciting for kids, the curriculum is excellent (I have no concerns that my children will be ready for Elementary school), and I feel that my kids are safe and protected.

We been here for almost two years and have nothing but excellent things to say about The Blue Elephant! We’ve now moved up through 5 different classes but have experience with tons of different teachers. All teachers are nurturing, attentive and great communicators. My daughter comes home weekly saying new things that I owe her learnings 100% to The Blue Elephant. We are excited for our second baby to be born this spring and for him to start the process all over with the amazing infant teachers! We are so happy we found TBE!

I would highly recommend TBE to any family. We absolutely love the teachers and staff. They have taken such good care of both of our boys since they started in the infant room and have become a part of our family. The way they love and care for the children have been such a peace of mind and blessing. They send pictures and videos throughout the day as well as very detailed updates. We adore the entire staff! The classrooms are kept very clean and they immediately notify parents of any illness, incidents, etc.Our 5yo is now in kindergarten, but looks forward to their Summer Camps each year!

This place is such a diamond in the rough. I should have left a review years ago. My kids have been going here for about 5 years and i continue to be amazed at how there is little to no turnover among the staff. My now 2nd grader had the same teacher my now 4 year old has and I just love the continuity and familiar faces. You can definitely feel the love they have for these children when you walk in the door and you can tell it truly is a passion of theirs. Miss Kelsey, Miss amber, miss Mer, Miss Evelyn, Miss Shay, Miss Alexa, Miss Keke, Miss Sudha, miss Alexis…all of them are not only amazing teachers, but you can tell they are great humans. Thank you blue elephant!

Disappointed with how the blue elephant chose to handle the dismissal of son. They called me on a Friday and told me he could not come back - without incident. As a working mother I was left scrambling trying to find child care. My son wasn’t even 2 years old and did not have any incident reports, they could not handle a strong personality and highly active boy. Just know they will not take you or your family into consideration at all.The staff was nice but overall they don’t actually keep you informed on your child daily and they created a lot of bad habits my son brought home.In my personal opinion they are not a professional early learning center this is more of a daycare.I have been able to find a great school for my son and he is thriving and happy- complete opposite of the experience he was having at the blue elephant.

The Blue Elephant has been an absolute blessing in our life! TBE has also become the family that we didn’t know we needed! Fantastic daycare and teachers. The owner is an incredible women and has been so gracious to our family. The Director is one of the sweetest ladies, they both are a reflection of their team and the teachers. Our son has been attending since he was three months old, and boy has he learned and advanced in many ways! We are proud to be a TBE family! You will not regret making TBE your home away from home!

Where should I start. If TBE was just a daycare I would probably give them a 3.5 out of 5 star review. Being that they claim to be a learning center, I rate them 2 out of 5. Our son started TBE when he was around 17 months and ended his time there right around 23 months. This review isn’t a reflection of the teachers more so the administration and owner. I would consider my wife and I pretty active and engaged parents. We never just pick up/drop off our son, we make it a point of ours everyday to ask his teachers, “How’d he do, eat, sleep and behave”. Those were the very least questions we would ask. It’s always “he ate ok, he slept fine. He had a good day.” Even though they have an app where his daily report is updated, we still like to ask face to face during pick up/drop off. A little about our son, he’s an active boy, he likes to learn, get books read to him, run, climb and play with around kids his age. He doesn’t take 2 hour and 30 minute afternoon naps like the school would prefer so the teachers can have longer breaks. He averaged 1 hour and 28 mins naps during school prior to our dismissal according to the daily chart on the app. He eats like your average toddler. He’s in the 78% percentile for weight for his age. He knows around 92 words currently. (We counted because we knew the school being groundless when they sent us this fabricated email about concerns two weeks before his dismissal). A meeting was set up with the owner who doesn’t deal with my child directly and the director who also doesn’t deal with my child directly to talk to us about our child. None of the teachers who actually deal and care for him were present at this meeting. Just an owner I’m now seeing for the first time ever since we’ve been there and the director we see at the front daily. I realized right away the meeting was just a formality and they were kicking our son out when the month was over because we paid for the month in advance . They said their concerns were“Lack of appetite, Little to no sleep during nap time. Excessive screaming and being upset without cause for extended periods of time when he wakes up. Aggressive behavior towards teachers and students when upset (tries to hit, kick, or bite).Language development”. 4 out those 5 things were fabricated because it’s contrary to the actual facts and conflicting to the daily report the actual teachers wrote. “Aggressive” was just a vague intentionally untrue concern of their’s they put in there because if any child at the schools hits, kicks or bites they are required to notify you via a written incident report which you have to sign off on. I won’t go into all of the details of the meeting, but talking about their concerns they used words to describe my son as “strong for his age” “strong willed” “active” “determined” “not easily distracted or redirected” and “attached to his teachers. These are qualities I view as positive traits. However, for an owner, who wants her teachers to be able to just give the kid’s coloring paper and put on the tv where a guy is doing a sing-along while playing an instrument and expects the kids to sit still the entire duration and be quiet for an hour while the other kids sleep it was more so “just not a right fit” issue. I would have respected the owner more if she would have just came out and said that instead of fabricating a fake concern letter and dismissing him right away instead working with our as a levering center should. If children under 2 are turned away at a place which claims to be a learning center because you don’t have the patience to actually teach and guide each child then just say that. Every child is different and clearly this place is more suited for less active, children that sit and color, who take long naps. TBE should be advertised as JUST a daycare because it is clearly not a learning center. In short I would give this place 2 stars but since they have their staff write fake positive 5 star reviews I’m leaving them a 1 star to balance out the factitious 5 star reviews on here.

I had a tour of this place looking for a daycare for my two year old. First impression of the director was great. But once I saw Ms. Amy the two year old teacher I knew this place was a shit show. The lady that gave me the tour spent a lot of time talking to me in front of Ms. Amy's class and I spent a lot of time observing the classroom. The teacher was overwhelmed to say the least. She yanked a little boy off the stool from washing his hands and brought him to the door and said he's not being a nice friend he has to leave!!! No child should ever be yanked off a stool and then talked about in that way. She clearly isn't being supported by her director or she wouldn't have been this overwhelmed at 10:00am. The little boy was moved to the class across the hall which seemed very relaxed and the teacher seemed super happy. The little boy sat down for a snack and seemed like he was in heaven compared to Ms. Amy's class. They do not have cameras for parents to view but the director said she was going to review the cameras. Who knows if she did or even helped the teacher out. But from what I saw I wouldn't even leave my dogs or even freaking hamsters with that lady. Maybe she was having an off day we are all human but a properly run daycare supports the teachers so they don't get to that point.
